The food was good & authentic. I had the milanesa sandwich, which was perfectly balanced and could easily have been shared by two. The fries were more than plentiful and served with a fresh chimichurri sauce. Service was on a small patio and, for January, made for a delightful lunch in the sun overlooking the ferry dock and Puget Sound. I will be going back.

Best empanadas I’ve had. Comes with chimichuri sauce. Vegan and veggie options, Argentinian sandwiches (friends had those and loved them). Family owned and operated, and they are really friendly and are always excited to talk about their food if customers have questions. Great outdoor seating during the summer, no indoor seating.

My wife and I stopped by here after attempting to have lunch at Sourdough Willy’s (but that’s another story) because we saw they had empanadas. The person who took our orders was friendly, and our food came out quickly.

My wife got a couple of chicken empanadas with chimichurri and I got a milanesa (thinly-pounded beef cutlet, breaded and fried) sandwich. Both were larger than I expected.

I didn’t try the empanadas or the chimichurri, but my wife liked both quite a bit – the empanadas were well-fried and looked beautiful. The milanesa wasn’t heavy at all and was subtly seasoned, and I was quite happy with my sandwich as well. (I regret not getting empanadas though.)

They have a small outdoor seating area which was nice, but the food’s very portable – it’s a really good grab-and-go option, and I think we’d both happily go back when we’re in Kingston next.

I can’t speak to the authenticity of the cuisine but the food was decent. The prices were what you would expect for downtown. I wish there was a bit more flavor in the food. Menu is simple. Seating is sparse.

It’s in a good location, if the weather’s nice the seating outside affords a good view of the sound/boat traffic/ and ferry lane. However, if the weather is fowl there’s not really inside dining available. I think big pictures on the wall of what some of the food is going to look like would help with selection. There were a few small pics available. The food is just as wonderful as everyone else has claimed! Service was good, friendly, not fast but efficient. Just know ahead of time that even when you think you’ve ordered enough or that you “don’t want to be too piggy” you’ll wish you’d gotten a little more!!!

Purchased 2 empanadas and they were absolutely delicious, the owners son is very good at communicating in case you walk in and they’re sold out of anything, he let me know right away what was sold out and what wasn’t, 100% recommend

Scrumptious quick bites with friendly service and good conversation. I love that there was something for all of us- vegans, vegetarians, and meat-eaters were all satisfied! For empanadas we tried the two vegan options (apple and butternut squash), caprese, spinach and cheese, and ham and cheese. They were all delicious, but the apple was out-of-this-world.

We also tried the potato bombs and yum, yum, yum.

Alfajores were also delightful.

Don’t miss out on this fantastic little spot. Totally worth the stop!

I just don’t have words to describe how amazing this place is! Just go give it a try. You’ll be hooked too. If you’re a “local”, try going on a weekday. If you’re taking the ferry from Kingston, go early and walk across the parking lot. If you’re from the “other side” of the ferry, hop on and walk to the other side. If you walk on, the boat ride back to Edmonds is free. Not matter how you get to Argensol, it will surely be worth the trip!
