The sandwich, oh my goooooodness, the sandwich that I sampled was called, “The Schacht Attack”, and this thig was loaded let me tell ya, I wish I would have taken better notes, this thing had cole slaw, Polish sausage, and pulled pork, if I am leaving anything out, which I strongly believe I am, I apologize, this thing was loaded to the max, well worth ever nickle spent. I will go back before leaving Seattle, I strongly recommend you do the same!
The Ribs here were smokey, tender, meaty and delicious. The sauce came on the side and was delicious withe just the right amount of spice to give it a kick.
The Coleslaw was tasty, crisp, and not overly sweet and dressed well, some the of best I’ve had.
Cornbread was delicious, moist and flavorful. Didn’t need to add any butter or anything else, it was great on it’s own.
The Meh:
The Brisket was tender, smokey, and had good flavor, but it was too thin cut, and it didn’t have any fat cap.
The Beans, were beans… I’m not a fan of beans in general so hard to rate them.
Service was great, food came out fast! Will go again, just not going to get Brisket.
Understand this is a crass themed BBQ joint that looks kinda rough and dirty upon initial glance. The doors look well used and the floors have good blacked trails on them. If your lady wears a full face of makeup and sounds like a valley girl, this isn’t her place.
The food is the draw. Huge portions, good meat, especially when fresh and good ol fashioned non-pc service. BBQ Schacht sandwich combo for $13.95 was a deal especially since I had for dinner also.
The sign supporting firearms was nice to see, if even a bit tongue and cheek, for the libtard ol Seattle area.
This is one of the better bbq places I’ve been to in the Seattle area and would recommend you check it out.
Fantasticly smoked, providing a very classic taste of Heat + Smoke! The Sides are all Very Good. The Potato Salad and Cole Slaw are simple and straight forward and NOT overwhelming with Sugar or Vinegar. The Baked Bean side has a very nice balance of smoke and zesty pepper! Perfect BBQ!
The pulled pork sandwich was delicious came with a ton of meat very well cooked.
The slaw is done very well I am super picky when it comes to slaw but I absolutely loved it here!
The potato salad was potato salad not anything special but still good.
The employees where pretty laid back and not afraid to chat with you.
The restaurant has a hole in the wall vibe very simplistic but welcoming I love these types of BBQ places often they have the best food. I will definitely be coming back for more!
I suspect a lot of friends or bots created the 4.7 rating. Traveling to any Dickey’s location is a much better choice. Even Jack’s BBQ if you can still tolerate Seattle’s dangerous drug/alcohol addicted populace.
