This kosher (under supervision of VHQ) sushi restaurant has several locations. I primarily go to the Forest Hills, Queens location but have also been to the Manhattan one.
The sushi is very good. It’s fresh. There are lots of types of sushi, sashimi, etc. Sushi Fusion also has a chicken menu that is very good, with lollipop chicken, chicken sandwiches, etc.
The restaurant is primarily take out. There are some tables you can sit at but most people just order and go.

The food at Sushi Fusion is always fresh, flavorful, and exactly what you’d hope for from a great sushi spot. What really brings it all together is the way Malkiel oversees the process — making sure every order is prepared just right and nothing is missed. Horrible. The food the service the atmosphere, I was with my family and wanted to order 2 rolls of sushi for my kids. I was told that it would take 5-10 minutes. I waited for over 45 minutes, my kids were hungry and the food was even worse than the service. I took the other roll of sushi to go just for me to throw it out. The sushi isn’t fresh, me and my kids got food poisoning from here. So please save your time and money and don’t come here.

This is what you get for $25. This is a joke! Miso sup is just like water with tofu. Very small portions. One of the rolls wasn’t fresh made, I could tell that by looking at avocado.

The California roll was ok, not great. I ordered wings and my friend ordered a chicken wrap. Both came with a huge amount of very poor French fries. The wings and the wrap were quite tasty, but the portions were such that when we got home we had to make ourselves something to eat. Knowing what wings cost, right next door, they could have served twice as much for the exorbitant price they charge.
To make the order we had to call to get a staff members attention, they were busy in conversation and did not look at the one table that had customers.
It took about 10 minutes to receive the sushi and about 20 minutes for the wings and wrap. When it came time to pay I again I had to get someone’s attention away from a conversation to finish my bill.
For the potion size vs. the cost and the poor service I would definitely not come back.

We live near by and have been getting take out since they opened. Once or twice a month. The 3 elder kids love the sushi at this location, they get a mix of the raw and cooked and it always gets a thumbs up- the favorite of the neighborhood (along 108 and Queens Blvd).
