R*A*C*I*S*T employees and discriminatory business practices! Group was treated with blatant disrespect. Staff refused to serve a customer without a valid reason. A staff member told him his English was “bad” and that he needed to “speak better,” which is humiliating and completely inappropriate—especially since the English was perfectly fine.
Group was made to be uncomfortable after playing a song in a different language. Staff said not to play “THAT kind of music” and spoke to in a hostile, dismissive way. The comments were degrading and made it very clear the group was not welcome. Threats were made towards the customers…
The establishment should be embarrassed and ashamed of the treatment of their customers and people in general. Don’t support this business. No one should be treated differently or denied service because of their skin color, language, or culture. Management needs to take these incidents seriously. Disgusting and embarrassing behavior.

It has a creepy theme (mass murders) and the atmosphere is unkept, with empty boxes around the perimeter and tables stacked against the wall and blocking the shuffleboard table. But, it’s a dive bar. Very fun owner who’s always available to tell her (and her bar’s) story and friendly, attentive bar keepers. A favorite stop when Millard Avenue dive bar hopping.

I was here for a birthday. There was a large sign on the floor in the hallway to the bathroom. Very much a hazard for someone to trip over. Another in our group picked it up off the floor like a decent human.
You would think the owner might appreciate that but instead she yelled at him, throw him out and others in the bar who appeared to be her friends threatened him.

Such a great bar. The staff is awesome and the atmosphere is just like the name… sociable. Drinks are reasonably priced and I had such a great time. Ill be back for sure!

Great bar if you want to get away from you typical annoying loud bar crowd. drinks are strong and service is real good. The owner makes you feel welcome everyone you go in. ONE OF THE LAST PLACES WITH AN AUTHENTIC SHUFFLE BOARD TABLE…LOVE IT!!!
