I pulled off the freeway to get some dinner (breakfast) to let the traffic die down. There wasn’t many people their so I got seated right away. The hostess was prompt, curtious and kind. She took my order and before you know it, food! I had gluten free (friendly) pancakes, sausage and hash browns. The food was very good and satisfying. The restaurant was very clean and tidy, even the restroom! I’ll be stopping in again.

Our server was Jake at the 30020 SW Boones Ferry Rd, Wilsonville, Oregon 97070 location. He was absolutely amazing ! Best waiter I’ve ever had anywhere! Always checked on me and my girlfriend to see how things are or if we needed anything. We did the bottomless pancakes meal and he asked us if we wanted to try one of the flavored pancakes but his version of it and he said his version was to add peanut butter and spread it in the pancakes and OMG IT WAS THE BEST PANCAKE IVE EVER HAD! It was absolutely delicious, I wanted more and more and more of it. Then he brought me out my next rounds of pancakes which was strawberry banana and they were delicious and then I asked him if he could do one with chocolate drizzle and peanut and white sauce on it with whipped cream and oh the pancakes ever had chocolate chip chips in it! That was by far my favorite pancake of all time, My girlfriend told me I had the biggest smile on my face when I was eating that I was in heaven! I will definitely be coming back for more and when I do, I want Jake! Such an amazing and kind person!

So Friday night Nov 28th I stopped by to place an order to go. Plus redeemed two credit of Pancakes stacks.
When I arrived home and we were about to eat. We notice the pancakes had green and blue on them. So assuming the pancake batter was old and not fresh because it looked like mold. I contacted guest service and sent them pictures of the Pancakes and they said it was not mold it was sprinkles because they have them on the menu. They were not sprinkles!
Also I mentioned to the servicer(who was very helpful placing the order and making sure I received everything before I left.) that their was a dead cockroach by the table I was sitting on.
I have included pictures of the pancakes and you can judge for yourself. I guarantee they were not sprinkles

IHOP Wilsonville has officially lost its last shot with me. I kept hoping they’d flip the pancake on their service, but nope—still burnt on one side and greasy on the other.
We waited over 30 minutes for food on a quiet Sunday with just four tables occupied. Was the manager playing hide-and-seek in the kitchen? Because no one checked in, and flagging down a server for a coffee refill felt like asking for a favor instead of basic hospitality.
The food? Greasy. The service? Flat. The attitude? Cold. Servers drop plates like they’re handing off a relay baton, mumble something unintelligible, and vanish like magicians mid-act. Not exactly the warm welcome IHOP prides itself on.
This location is in dire need of a leadership makeover, fresh kitchen talent, and a crash course in how not to treat paying customers like a nuisance. Until that happens, we’re officially switching to Elmers Woodburn or other establishments like Biscuits Cafe—where the food doesn’t shine with oil and the staff treats you like a person, not a chore.

Everything was great from start to finish. The food, the atmosphere, and the overall experience exceeded expectations. I especially hope the review highlights Jake and how outstanding he was as a server. He was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience even better. His service truly stood out and deserves to be recognized.

We walked in and there were several tables with dirty dishes left on the them, one table had the bussing tray on the seat and the cleaning towel on the table with no one around. At my table there was one of the coffee carafes lids on the floor under our table sitting on a napkin. I had to tell the waitress 3 times about it before she picked it up. It was not busy, but the waitress did not listen well. Our food, while it tasted good, we didn’t get exactly what we ordered. Then the drinks were supposed to be orange juice. She came back with only 1 instead of 2 and said that was all she could get out. But the juice tasted like it was half water. Then at the end. She gave us 3 different totals until finally deciding on the price but when bringing back our change, she gave us the cash but kept the change. We won’t be going back to that one

Look. Let’s face it. If you have been to an IHOP, you know what to expect. It’s not fine dining. Doesn’t matter if it’s NY, Oregon, Pennsylvania, or Canada, the food is substantially identical.
But at the Wilsonville IHOP, my experience was a standout! I was exceptionally blown away.
Our server, Tisha, was attentive, friendly, and ever present. Our party of 7 has several food allergies, including 5 gluten free, 2 strawberry, 1 nuts. And some overlapping.
Tisha actually apologized as she took out order because she was taking “too long” to make sure the order was correct. This was incredibly refreshing.
When our order came, it was accurate and Jake, was very expediting. He came over to the table and took extra care to make sure that the right orders got to the right people. I actually said to just put it down, and we would figure it out and he insisted on delivering them correctly. There was some gluten free pancakes still coming and he said that he would be back in a few minutes. He ran back to the kitchen and came back and updated us again that it was coming out.
In the meantime, Tisha refreshed our drinks with a smile and without prompting.
Then the manager came over and she was delightful and friendly.

We had a great time at IHOP, we had come in from out of town to see our family. They quickly put together a table of eight. The service was fast and friendly. Jake did a phenomenal job constantly checking in on us. We love this place!

Food was great until we realized that the chefs in the back didn’t have beard or hair nets on. My husband at one point watched one of the cooks scratch his hair over the food he was working on. Server didn’t check on us outside of order, food drop off and check and the restaurant was slow. Do not recommend going here.
