Not to bad for a food truck. A bit expensive. The pork rice is a waste of money and it taste horrible, not to mention it’s almost crunchy. Ragoons are good. Orange chicken pieces are huge so the breading falls right off. Ok so we tried it. I should of went to Taco Bell.

Just ordered at 6:45pm and they turned me away when I arrived at 7:15pm. They said it’s a 30 min wait and I don’t get how they just turn me away. Hope for a better service but tonight wasn’t it.

CHINA GATE IS BACK and better than ever. If you loved the full-scale restaurant, you won’t be disappointed. Service is fast and the owners are so kind. Happy to have them back in town.

I used to dine regularly in their old restaurant before they closed their doors, and I’m really sorry to say that the food was way better back then. A lot of their dishes have now been simplified and/or altered and they’re not as good as they used to be. I’m not knocking one dish or trying to be rude cause we all love Jenny and Jim. I’m sure I speak for all of us when I say that we’re grateful for them continuing on their legacy of Chinese food for Polson. But the dishes I’ve tried from the food truck have all been a miss for me, sadly. The egg rolls are still amazing, the almond chicken was so-so, but the crab rangoon now sometimes have this weird thick won ton instead of the light and airy ones they used to have. One time their sweet and sour sauce tasted straight up like chemicals. I couldn’t even eat it. And their lo-mein noodles were really overcooked and mushy. They just used regular spaghetti noodles too. I’m pretty sure they’re supposed to be a little thicker than spaghetti noodles. I wouldn’t have minded the substitution but mushy pasta isn’t good. I couldn’t finish it. If they had informed me that they were out of lo-mein noodles, I probably would have chosen a different dish.
Anyway, I hope they see this review and take it to heart. I’m not saying this to be mean. I’m only mentioning my experiences to help you fix these quality problems to help retain your loyal customers.

Great price for a lot of food but I found the teriyaki sauce lacking – it was too soy sauce/salty for me. Kinda funny to watch your restaurant drive away while eating!
