Food was fresh albeit a bit salty. Taste was not bad. Will have to return to try their hot pot.
*Veggie dumplings was awesome!
*Beef rice bowl was quite saucy and salty.
*Chicken karaage was mix of popcorn chicken and chicken nugget … not quite karaage
*Chicken rice bowl see line above
中規中矩, 食物如果不那麼咸會好些。加油
To start, we had spicy edamame. It was hot, spicy, and very savory! It wasn’t too salty, and we really enjoyed the flavor.
For my lunch, I got a sushi burrito with tuna, crab, and shrimp tempura, and it was so good! It was really flavorful and tasted better than normal sushi I’ve had. I love the wasabi sauce inside it.
My partner had tonkatsu ramen (he asked to make it spicy), and to us, it is probably the best ramen in the area. It came with a ton of meat that was very tender! The noodles were also a great consistency, and it wasn’t too expensive.
My favorite part was the boba! We got a taro smoothie with bubble tea pearls and custard. It was so good! To me, it’s probably some of the best boba on campus, especially given how big the portion is (it was overflowing when we got it!).
Overall, I really love this restaurant! I think we will be regular customers from now on. I am excited to taste more of the menu including the sushi tacos!
First thing you get in the atmosphere which is very fun for anime fans.
Food:
Veg gyoza was the shining star of the meal. 10/10. Veg yaki udon also very good though it tasted exactly like American Chinese lo mein. The taco was a cool concept and very delicious though a little difficult to eat. I got the sushi burrito and I see it’s appeal and I enjoyed mine, but would try the soy wrap next time because I’m not a bing nori fan and it was obviously prominent in this (that’s on me). Another shining star was the drinks. I loved that I could get milk tea with a milk alternative for the brown sugar boba (boba was PERFECT texture) and the peach milk jasmine tea was so refreshing and properly sweetened.
Price: Overall, everything was pretty fairly priced. We got so much here we took it home for second meals.
Customer service was awesome. Everyone was very kind.
Bathrooms were straight up savage. I generally only rate on food so that didn’t affect them but it should be noted. Parking was awesome especially considering how bad it is in that area.
Overall, we enjoyed ourselves. It was worth the drive and experience and I’d come back for the drinks alone.
