Do not sleep on this place! We’ve dined here several times over the last couple months. The food is incredible and the service has been top notch. We highly recommend. Today, my family had a huge bowl of pazole, quesabirria tacos (authentic goat! So tender and delicious), and red sauces enchiladas. The plating is fantastic and the flavors are off the chart. It seems that their menu has both authentic options and standard American/Mexican style fare. Check them out. This is some of the best Mexican I’ve had in West Michigan. The only lower grade I’d give them is for a mid atmosphere — but it’s clean and well cared for (so no real complaint).

Good torta cubana and quesibirrias. Green or orange hot taqueria sauce would have been great!

I hate to do this bc I take no pride in dogging a local restaurant but this place was so bad. I have no idea how it is rated so high.
Chips were stale bland hard bad
Salsa was watery meh
Only hot sauce was choluah
Alambre was swimming in oil with minimal flavor and charred steak for 19$
Now again I feel bad here bc the waiter kid was so nice and trying his best but he was all alone so the service sucked. Slow and overwhelmed.
Again I can’t believe this place is over 3 stars. Worst Mexican I’ve had in GR. Idk how they can mess it up so bad. Go to one of the other 5 Mexican places within 5 miles of here they are all better.

A very good experience at this New Mexican restaurant. Fun atmosphere and the service is downright genuine. I ordered plain tacos with cheese and they were freshly made quickly and delivered with limes. The taste of the food was perfect for my taste! I will be back often!

This location is a great addition to Northeast Grand Rapids for authentic Mexican food. While you will find standard American-Mexican favorites, you will also find proteins and dishes rare locally. The staff was friendly and helpful about answering any questions you might have. They serve breakfast and dinner daily. They also have a lunch menu Tuesday to Friday. Closed Mondays. Complimentary chips, house made mild salsa, medium salsa and a hot verde salsa, all excellent. Generous portions for our Torta Cubana (with steak, ham, grilled hot dog, chorizo, breaded chicken fillet and egg torta with fixings and Campechanos Quesadilla (steak and chorizo). We look forward to coming back.

I really want this place to shine, stay for a long time and be a neighborhood spot.
The flavors are ok, I don’t think anything is stand-out.
Furnature is comfortable, bathrooms clean.
Sadly the food is really pricey for what you get. How expensive is refried Beans and rice? Give a follow a big scoop please. I know prices are up all over but the little things make a difference. If I have to pay 12$ for a 2 taco ‘meal’; I expect the ‘Fillers’ to be generous.
I’ll keep going, hope for the best

Cute place with good food and pleasant service. Quality tacos and the rice & refried beans were great! Service was a little slow, but very nice. Looking forward to going back to try the Fajitas.

Texas border town girl craving authentic Mexican food and everything I had was amazing. From the salsas you get when you first sit down to the rice and beans you can add to the taco plate. I had quesobirria, barbacoa with cilantro and onions on flour tortilla and asada taco with cheese and crema. So flavorful and just the right portions for me.
