I’ve gone to their other location near Pearland Parkway and enjoyed their food. I was happy that this location is closer to me so I don’t have to drive far to get their food.
I ordered takeout: lamb shank and gyro. They come with salad, hummus, and pita. They are just as delicious as the other location.
Their place is beautifully decorated and their staff is friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.

The food was wonderful. The prices were reasonable. The service was noticeably lacking. The wait time for our meals was pushing the boundary of ridiculous. One coming out significantly before the other. I think they were short-staffed, or the kitchen was overwhelmed. I will be visiting again, and will adjust my review accordingly at that time.

I recently visited Cafe Petra with my family, and it was such a wonderful experience! The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered a variety of appetizers and everything was full of flavor. The falafel was amazing! Perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We also loved the fried halloumi and the kibbi.
For our main dishes, I had the chicken shawarma and my husband had the combination plate. We really both enjoyed our meals, you can really taste the quality in every dish. We also tried a couple of desserts and the baklava cheesecake was delicious!
The service was just as impressive as the food. Everyone was friendly, attentive and welcoming. The restaurant itself was beautiful! You can tell a lot of thought went into it.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant an it did not disappoint. When entering I was greeted by the owner I assume. He asked me I wanted to dine in or to go, and I mentioned to go and that it was my first time there. He then offered to help me with the menu to see what I would be interested in. We decided to go with the combination plate, I got the Chicken kabob option. I also wanted to try an appetizer and they recommended the fried cheese. Either of the plates didn’t disappoint. The chicken is so juicy and soft and full of flavor. The rice was cooked perfectly and everything just blends so well together.
Fried cheese.. i mean that combo just sounds delicious and it was!
Really did enjoy my dinner, and will be coming back again.

I had my first visit to Cafe Petra and it definitely won’t be my last! The food was absolutely delicious from start to finish. I ordered the combination lamb gyro and chicken shawarma plate, and both meats were perfectly seasoned, tender, and full of flavor. The portions were generous and everything tasted fresh and authentic.
I couldn’t resist trying the desserts, and I’m so glad I did. The tiramisu was moist and succulent, with just the right balance of sweetness and richness. The baklava was warm, flaky, and perfectly sweet—an ideal way to end the meal.
I should also mention that our server Lola was top notch. She is fast, friendly and fantastic.

We went to the new Cafe Petra location because we had gone to the other one and had loved it, and this new one is on par or might I even say, slightly better! The place looks beautiful, and is spacious enough. Everything we ordered was delicious, starting with the drinks (a Lebanese tea, and a fresh lemon-mint). I had a lentil soup that was the perfect consistency, creamy and thick; you could really savor the lentils. And we shared some delicious fried feta cheese, dripped in garlicky olive oil and accompanied by pita bread. Our main plates were great; the chicken was very well seasoned and juicy and all the flavors were well balanced. The menu has a large selection of plates, from salads, soups, seafood and vegetarian options, so there is food for everyone and anyone!
