I went for a quick take out order, and everyone was so nice. I definitely want to dine in one day. They make their seafood to order, so while I waited on my fried catfish and shrimp, I sat at the bar and sipped on a sidecar. The food came out fresh as promised. I ESPECIALLY ENJOYED the service better than the location in College Park. The mac and cheese and collard greens taste way better at this location, too, and they make sure your order is right without the attitude. I thought I was done going to Hattie Marie’s because of their College Park location, but this Decatur spot has saved the day! If I had to complain, the only thing I could say is they forgot to give utensils and hot sauce, but besides that, the experience was nothing but good vibes!

omg sooooooo good !!!!! The food was amazing the chicken and ribs were really good . The Service was excellent!!!! The customer service was A1!! the drinks were strong and good . Very hard to find a restaurant with good bartenders but baby he did his thing !!! E-Tayana was so sweet and nice . I love how she went around asking people how was the service . She was so sweet and laughing with us.Cornbread was amazing. Baked beans were amazing, the chicken was amazing, ribs was really good, and I really enjoyed myself I am definitely coming back. Kisses

I went to the Decatur location very excited after reading the reviews and seeing pictures. I got there about 5pm on a Friday evening not busy at all. I walked in and was given a very dry greeting from the cashier. I asked a few questions about the menu but she wasn’t helpful nor friendly. I ordered the 2meat plate (6 wings and lean brisket) for sides I had fries and mac n cheese. I placed the order which came up in about 10 minutes. I came in got it and left( big mistake) .I get home and open the box and was so disappointed the brisket that was supposed to be lean was fatty and looked like dog food not appetizing at all . Mac and cheese was a small portion as were the fries . I had just paid 30$ for this food so I was expecting a good amount not to mention I didn’t receive any type of bread with my order(not sure if it came with it). I ended up giving the brisket to my friends dog and seasoned my own fries after putting them in the air fryer. I was so disappointed I won’t return at all. I may try the college park location hopefully they know how to satisfy their customers. Very bad experience not worth the hype at all.

Amazing brisket! Will definitely be coming back to try their different menu. Parking is not free. The restaurant is attached to the Courtyard Hotel. There is an affordable parking garage behind the hotel.

Came into this place after every other restaurant was packed and short staff. This place is WAY overpriced. We ordered shrimp meals and we only had like 6-8 pieces of unseasoned shrimp with cold, unseasoned fries. $15.99 for each meal. I asked for cocktail sauce and they said we had to wait for the manager to buy it from the store. We came from out of town so we didn’t have the energy to ask for replacement or refund. The whole order taste like it was sitting in the kitchen ready for 30 minutes. Cold and no flavor. One of the worst food experiences I’ve ever had in Georgia. Never again.

Update: when they reopened Wednesday I was able to go to the location and get a refund. The manager was very nice about the situation and handled everything quickly. Would recommend either dining in or ordering to go in person.
Ordered online on 12/26 and they charged my card when my order was placed. Upon arriving at the restaurant they were closed.
We ordered through their website so I’m not sure why they were even accepting orders if they were closed, but I won’t even be able to get in contact with them until Wednesday.
The food itself is good even if the location has issues, the previous time we ordered they also didn’t have sides we had asked for and we had to call the restaurant and get the specific items refunded.
