This place was very reasonably priced
I ordered the classic breakfast: two eggs, two pieces of bacon or sausages and a pancake or French toast for $8 dollars. I also ordered a cup of coffee. I expected my bill to be $11 dollars. My bill was barley over $9 dollars. I respectfully reminded my waitress that she did not charge me for the coffee. She said it was included with the meal. Now that brought me back to the old days. Service was wonderful and the meal came relatively fast. I will stop in every time I happen to pass through Ellsworth.

Stopped in while traveling through the area. Good coffee, fresh breakfast all day. Can’t beat that! Plus the local vibe and the owner was on top of it! Delicious!

The food is always good. But the service is getting worse. Been here a few times in the last couple of months. Debating if I should go back or not. Shouldn’t have children running the place with no adults showing them how to run it. It just keeps getting worse. Waiting 20 minutes just to be asked what we wanted to eat. Unacceptable!

I’ve came to sawyer joes multiple times, and for the most part it has been somewhat decent. But when you walk in there, grab a table and sit there for 20 minutes without anyone asking if you want a water or anything then it becomes an issue…. the food is subpar and has only gotten worse since they opened. Quickly going down hill in a hurry.

Met up with family, and 3 of the 5 adults got horribly sick later on in the day, having only eaten here all day. I found a piece of a wooden skewer in my wrap once I got home, too. There was no sign that a skewer had been used to hold the wrap together. Waitress was friendly, but she was overly concerned I didnt like my wrap, too, which was odd at the time, but has come to my attention that our waitress was the owner so makes more sense. Food was very slow getting to table and came out in 2 groups almost 10 minutes apart. Place was not overly busy, just maybe 2 or 3 other tables.

I had hashbrowns with scrambled eggs, cheese, bacon and onions and a waffle. all was good. waitress was extremely nice. the kitchen staff took care not to cross-contaminate so i would have an allergoc reaction. definitely recommend if you’re in ellsworth, wi.

Stopped in for a late lunch. The place was clean and inviting. The service was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. I had a grilled chicken sandwich and fruit. The chicken breast was thick and juicy, just the way it should be. The fruit was melon, it was ripe and delicious. The prices are really good for what you get.
