Guadalajara’s is our “why risk going anywhere else?” spot.
The handmade margaritas are always enough to fix your day, the guacamole is so fresh it might still be gossiping about the avocado tree, and the street tacos never miss — seriously, pick any of them.
The staff is always friendly and on top of things, and the atmosphere is lively but still totally family-friendly, which makes it easy to relax and stay longer than planned.
Great food, great drinks, great vibe — it’s a win every time.

8/24 – The service and the food was amazing! We live about 45 minutes from Commerce, but will definitely drive here for good food.
8/26 – We ate here again, and they did not disappoint! Everything they served us tasted so good. Service is fast and attentive. Drinks were never empty either visit. I love veggies and theirs are so flavorful. They have more sides than a normal Mexican restaurant, like baked potatoes, corn on the cobb, steamed veggies. (pics from first visit)

Don’t underestimate this place based on the name or outside appearance! We enjoyed wonderful margaritas with flowers for decoration and the blue salt on the rim. The food was excellent. We had the vegetarian fajitas which were flavorful with onions, peppers, broccoli, squash, mushrooms, cauliflower and spinach.. so much more than one would expect The guacamole is outstanding as is the salsa. I enjoyed the entire meal. The flan was good, but not the best I’ve ever had. Overall this was an exceptional dining experience with great service and timely presentation of our meals.

If you have not stopped by this little gem of a restaurant, you are truly missing out! Since the doors opened this has been our go to. It is always very clean and decorated for holidays. The special touches that the owner puts in places just makes the experience so special. All of the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. The food is always top notch and very little wait time for a sit down restaurant. The drinks! The bartender is a incredible there is no replacing her work. I have tried the exact same thing at other restaurants and NOTHING can hold a candle to her mixed drinks. I am running down the list to try everything! As a final note and what most don’t realize is one of the people that comes to your table is the owner! This man takes so much pride in his business that not one person that walks through that door has not spoke to him. You will see him greet you, come to your table and ask how everything is. He even jumps in a busses tables! Even if I was to move a hundred miles a way. I would make a trip just to eat here.

They have an amazing salsa. Nice small chunks of veggies and the flavor is wonderful. The rest of the food was above average but wasn’t the best Mexican food place I’ve ever been to. The service was phenomenal and our waitress kept drinks filled and never kept us waiting or wanting for anything. Overall a fantastic experience. I would go back another time if I was passing through there, as I’m not from the area.
