The cuisine was exquisite! We ordered the focaccia with chili butter, arancini, pesto pasta, and sea bass, and every dish was beautifully executed. The flavors were layered and refined, the textures were impeccable, and each course felt elegant and intentional ✨
What elevated the evening even further was Simo’s remarkable hospitality. He checked in with perfect attentiveness, accommodated our requests seamlessly, took photos for us, and surprised us with flowers and complimentary cake for our anniversary. His warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made the entire experience feel personal, polished, and memorable.
Laurel delivered a beautiful dining experience, and Simo made it extraordinary Thank you, Simo!
Waited 10 mins before someone greeted us at our table. Ordered wine and a drink. They poured wine at table, but I could see after 15 mins my drink wasn’t coming anytime soon, so I switched to wine. The bar was completely overwhelmed and couldn’t handle the crowd and the restaurant at the same time. The server made a nice effort to apologize for a couple things which was good to hear.
Got the Italian salad which was just okay. It was very bitter with no dressing. Needed something on it.
Porterhouse steak for 2. Ordered it medium rare, and it came out well done. I told them about it, and that we would eat it only because of how long the wait was, and we were hungry. They made no concessions for that massive 84.00 mistake. Got the mash potatoes and broccoli rabe as our 2 sides, and they were decent.
As we are finishing food, they bring me the old fashioned I ordered and hour and 10 mins ago: I said: hey I canceled this. They took it off the bill and gave it to me anyway. I never even drank it so it went to waste.

They took my order, but later another server approached without realizing I had already ordered. After waiting several more minutes, my tea still hadn’t arrived and I had to remind them. Also they didn’t even have teas listed on the menu. The oatmeal portion was quite big but bit watery and had less fruit than I would expect for the price.
Overall, the service and food quality fell well below what I would expect from an upscale restaurant and hotel.
Service – waitress was very friendly and kind.
– Sizeable appetizers
– burrata needs olive oil, more salt, and black pepper.
– Calamari and shrimp could be crispier. also needs a lemon and more salt
– Beef tenderloin was medium rare but kind of dry
– Chilean Salmon was tasty
– The pistachio cake was delicious and not too sweet
– The donuts were good as well
The pistachio cake was my favorite dish.
Thank you, Chef Rodriguez, Sinu, Luis, Jorge, George, JR, Troy and the entire Laurel staff….for several exceptional dining experiences! Your gracious hospitality is sincerely appreciated. Highly recommended!
