Food and service was excellent! My first time trying a bao and theirs were the perfect texture and bursting with flavor. We also tried a couple appetizers-the ribs had a dry rub that gave the tender meat a wonderful zing and the shrimp were delicious! I can’t forget the tomato soup that was served with 2 little sandwich sticks for dunking. I’m already planning what I want to try on my next visit.

First off- if you love creative delicious food and are debating where to go this is your answer.

Went here with my partner to celebrate and we had an ✨amazing✨ meal. We were literally saying “wow” so consider us wow’d.

We had the Szechuan ribs as an appetizer- they were so delicious (yes they are spicy). The salad underneath made the perfect combination with the ribs- I’m not normally a rib person but we both LOVED these. Our mains were both delicious (they have lions mane which I’ve always wanted to try). We had an earl grey crème brûlée dessert which was my favorite rendition of this dessert I’ve ever had so far.

Service was fantastic, our server was very friendly and attentive. The passion of putting the menu and the place together really shines through.

Other thoughts:

Could maybe use some kind of light barrier between the top part at least of the kitchen and the dining area to preserve the mood lighting from being hit by the harsh kitchen lights. Perhaps also a dessert menu to show the dessert options.

Would love to see oyster mushroom fried chicken one day on the menu I feel like this is the kind of place who would make it amazing.

I am glad to see a restaurant take over Zeoli’s (sad they closed). We came here to celebrate Valentine’s Day and it was a great choice. Overall, I very much enjoyed the food and experience. The booths are very private and tall so it creates a nice date night ambience. The dishes were all good, but the elote Caesar salad and Bao buns were my personal favorites. They stood out. The dishes are packed with flavor and fresh. My only criticism is the mashed potatoes with the salmon are odd. I found them to be a little grainy and dry. Outside of that, everything is well cooked, good presentation, and delicious! I’m looking forward to many meals here, especially the Peruvian chicken on the Caesar salad!!

I am thrilled that this place opened in downtown Clawson. I was so impressed with my dinner the other night, that I stopped in today for a quick lunch snack! You can tell just by looking at the menu that they really care about what they are serving, and have a great taste for the fusion of flavors and styles from multiple origins. When done right, that produces some really unforgettable dishes. They are definitely on that path.

Service was great, the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated, and everyone I encountered was friendly and approachable. I will certainly be back again and again, so I hope they stick around for the long haul.

I highly recommend the Baos. Especially the Peruvian Chicken (amazing sauce) and the Szechuan Hot Chicken (with perfectly fried thighs). Everything was great but the Baos are a particular highlight.

The Earl Grey Creme Brulee was exceptional and very unique. The lemon cream for garnish had an amazing powdered honey sprinkled over top. Crazy good!

There’s just too much to list. 12/10

Hubby & I went for first time this evening. What a wonderful experience. Atmosphere is very comfortable and i love the red & black! Nick was an excellent server and we ordered everything he suggested! The mushroom & goat cheese naan was so yummy. Hubby loved the smash burger & grandmas salad. I could have eaten several General Bao! The tomato red pepper soup was also delicious.
Met a newly engaged couple and bought their dinner too!!! We will return.

I went for lunch and had a delightful time. Great decor. Great service. I had the Szechuan spare ribs which was a dry rubbed short and unique for me. They came with a delicious slaw. I also tried a few bao buns – bao slider, Szechuan hot chicken bao and the Peruvian chicken bao. All good but the Peruvian was my fav. Will return to try more of the menu.

I was pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. Wasn’t a fan of Zeolis that was there before so I didnt have high expectations as I feel it is difficult to get a restaurant going. Christopher was our server and no complaints there. Very attentive and helpful. We started with a naan bread with goat cheese and black garlic with mushrooms and it was delicious! I wouldn’t call it naan bread it was more of a flatbread/mini pizza dough but still tasted amazing. We also got the hot chicken bao bun and OMG, mouth watering. We split the Kimchi burger and yet again, impressed! Had a little kick to it and was amazing. The fries were crispy enough on the outside and soft on the inside, not soggy but not dry. Obsessed with the fries. We enjoyed the food so much we decided to finish it off with carrot cake. Im not a huge dessert person, but the taste was perfect, the icing was really good, I just wish the cake was more dense for my preference but id get again! I didnt feel gross, bloated, or lethergic after either which i most definitely base food off of haha. Im excited to back and try something different. Really hope this place sticks around

My wife and I had dinner at Red and the Wolf this evening and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience, from food to drinks and our waiter Nick providing selections to try. I loved the Szechuan Spare Rib appetizer – dry rub was a little too spicy for my wife, but I loved them. The slaw accompaniment was an excellent side to the spiced dry rub of the ribs. Tried the General Bao (cauliflower) and Lions Mane ‘Ribeye’ for main course. Would have never thought a mushroom steak would taste like a grilled ribeye steak and side of asparagus grilled to perfection. My wife had Grandma’s house salad with Grilled Peruvian Chicken, truly large enough for two to share. Not on the menu as yet, but understand chef will have a ‘scallop’ entree soon which of course are actually mushrooms. Looking forward to our next visit.

Happy to try this place today. The Szechuan ribs were delicious and incredibly tender… I could probably eat 2 orders. Shared a salad and a flatbread which were also good.
