I ordered Curry Chicken and Rice and 1 beef patty, spent $32! I got home and everything went straight into the trash after spitting out the chicken. Tasted nothing like curry, full of bones and hardly any chicken, and the roti was like a soggy tortilla. The rice i ordered actually turned out to be RED BEANS & RICE without even being told and it tasted like i was eating paper, also spit that out. How do you ruin rice? The fact that this place is even open for business is MIND BLOWING.
Don’t waste your time here. You’re better off going to McDonald’s or just microwaving a frozen pizza. Only reason i went to this place is because Caribbean Palace was closed, i was starving and craving Caribbean food. I wouldn’t even feed food from this place to my dogs.
I should’ve known better after seeing how unsantitary it looked inside this establishment. Super dirty and disorganized with dust collecting everywhere. Never again!

If you’re familiar with authentic Caribbean cuisine you’ll understand that this is not acceptable. The beef and chicken patties I ordered were soggy, lacking the expected flaky texture, and seemed a bit old. I also tried the curry goat and roti, which unfortunately fell short of expectations. I wouldn’t recommend this place, especially if you’re looking for genuine Caribbean dishes. I am Jamaican and this was a bit disappointing. I understand everyone makes dishes differently, but this is not a place I would recommend.

I should have believed the stars and went somewhere else.. The food was old. No meat on any bones. Plantain turning grayish. Cabbage was the only fresh item on that plate. We called to let them know and was notified the chef would be in later. Come back in 2 hour and bring the food back. I was on my lunch break and 25 min away. Not feasible. Anywho, total waste of time and money.
I tried to get a refund and they want to offer another plate. Why would I do that if you can give me an old plate of food during lunch hours? Do yourself a favor and frequent Jerk Pit or somewhere else.

Ordered the medium sized Jerk Chicken meal via UberEats so can only comment on the food quality and not the restaurant or service. The meal stated it included rice with peas, cabbage, and a fried plantain, however the plantain was missing from my bowl container.
The chicken had a nice appearance with what seemed like a nice brown glazing of spices even if the skin was rubbery. The flavor was not good – it was moist chicken, but tasted only of charcoal briquette. Given that this was the main item it was just a big disappointment.
The sides however were both delicious, with nice layers of flavors to each of them and a good kick of heat.
I will try them again (if only to order the sides), but the chicken flavor and missing plantain really was a let down.

Very good pricing and they really fill up you’re plate, I tend to get the brown beef stew but the the jerk chicken wings are pretty good too I would recommend

I will say my first visit was decent with Kia and her service skills are absolutely fun while being helpful. I did not get the round ball that I ordered but I came out with a lot of food and drinks. However the LARGE Oxtails was very lacking on amount vs the price point and plantain is a separate purchase instead of a few pieces on the meal. The Akee and Saltfish had 2 or 3 dumpling underneath so very little ackee and Saltfish for that price. The Jerk Mac and cheese was on the almost stale side. I wasn’t fond of their brand of Sorrel as it had a weird after taste. Didn’t like either the fruit nor the other rum cake but those are not their fault as they are prepackaged options. The gentleman there was helpful in packing my huge order but sadly I won’t be returning. Money spent there vs value was very lacking.

A can of Ackee is going for $16.99. Their ackee and salt fish dish is 14.99. Folks, you are better off making your own pot of ackee and salt fish. They literally gave me less than 2oz of a scoop of ackee and no pieces of salt fish but gave whole bunch of plantain, one dumpling and yams. LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS.

The jerk chicken was moist and delicious. This is my second time here and the staff is always friendly and the food is really good. I don’t like rice and peas but this is the only place I can eat them. My kids really enjoyed the beef patties, the crust was light and flaky.

The food they have sitting out on the line is not the food that they will serve you. The food on the line looked putrid, there was a container of random foods that looked like they were fermenting. Half of my jerk chicken seemed fresh and the other half seemed like it was made three days ago and was rocksolid. The rice was old. The place had roaches in it. The lady was nice but the food was just not it.
