I’ve been going to Cholies for about 8 years now. My best friend introduced me to Cholies right before I left for the Army. The pizza slice combo is definitely worth it!! Mrs.Cholie is definitely a community favorite. Tonight she wasn’t there but the ladies that were seemed to know the business really well. I definitely will always recommend this pizzeria.

Having lived in Hyde park for last several years, I had always wanted to try this place but never got around to doing so. Now that I am gearing to move out of Hyde park, I finally decided to give this place a try.
We had a small vegetable and chicken pizza and six spicy buffalo wings. The food was fresh, the portions were good and the price was very reasonable. And most of all, the spices on the wings were on point. All in all, it came out to be $26 and we (two people) were stuffed by the end.
I regret not going here often given that they have tacos, burritos and gyros as well. Discovered this after going in and actually looking at their menu.
Highly recommend this place. Will definitely stop by again.

Good place for a quick bite or late night eating. I would give the pizza a 7/10 it was hot and fresh. There wasnt a lot of sauce on the pizza so make sure you have something to drink. It definitely hit the spot for a late night meal!
I ordered 6wings BBQ chicken. A solid 9/10 Also hot and fresh. If you dont like a TON of sauce ask for light sauce or plain because they definitely drowned it. They have sauce at the counter that you can add to your own food. It was more of a mild sauce than a BBQ sauce. A little sweet and tangy.
Over all I recommend trying this place out. They have good food, good people and good prices.

Worst Italian beef ever if you can call it that. This is not how you make it the meat is dry the bread was dipped but it doesn’t taste like anything, they used jalapenos peppers instead of Giardiniera and they topped it off with two slices of cheep American cheese. If your going to live in Chicago and make Chicago style dishes at least learn how to make them correctly.

The people are nice. They offer so many different items on the menu in fact, too many items on the menu, the quality of the food isn’t good. I had a hair in the chicken dinner that I ordered. I have had pizza slices before which were okay for the price. They need to just stick to pizza and try and master that instead of being a one stop shop.
