You guys this place has been around for 20 years! Parking is insanely easy I got a spot right in front! We need to keep patronizing these hidden gems. I sat at the bar with friends and the bartender Drew was such a fabulous host! So attentive and so generous and very knowledgeable about wines. He let us try a few because he understood we were picky. There was live bossa nova Music and the place is very intimate and perfect. The design is early 2000’s but somehow works so well- I love this place! Food is incredible we split the rigatoni and the bacon dates and it was Insanely delicious. There are couches to lounge and plenty of tables but still cozy! Keep this place Alive at all costs!!

Quiet, charming, warm place to sit and have cocktail or a glass of wine. Nice selection vinyl to spin for mood. The staff, Drew was behind the bar is vey welcoming and friendly, quickly becomes your sommelier, guide, new friend in a rough world. I will go many time more now that I’m aware of this gem.

Ciao is a great place to sit, have a relaxing glass of wine and some appetizers, and listen to some jazz. The night we attended, they were hosting an open mic jazz night and we watched a number of very talented performers sing jazz standards very well. Our server was both kind and attentive. The space itself was small and cozy, and that only felt cozier as the rain began to fall outside.

Ciao! Cafe & Wine Lounge in the West Loop is a cozy gem that’s perfect for a chill night out. I swung by last Saturday and was greeted with a warm, intimate vibe that made me feel right at home. Started off with their bacon-wrapped dates, which were the perfect mix of sweet and savory. For the main course, I couldn’t resist the Rigatoni Alla Rigo, their house specialty with spicy Italian sausage in a creamy tomato sauce—absolutely hit the spot. Paired it all with a glass of red wine, bringing my tab to around $40. The live jazz music added a nice touch, making the whole experience feel authentically Chicago. If you’re looking for a laid-back spot with solid Italian eats and a neighborhood feel, Ciao! is where it’s at.

Really cool spot that transforms you into another world outside of the city! The ambience makes you feel as if you are in a romantic restaurant that was entirely reserved as a private dining experience. Great fate night spot for the west loop or to get away from the typical bars/restaurants. Definitely recommend for both small bites and the avid wine selection!
