Mediocre at best. I went for fried oysters and they were out, but ordered chargrilled instead. They were great. Ordered the 16oz ribeye and it was cooked perfectly medium rare, but was awful in taste and was loaded with fat, so I don’t recommend the steak. I asked for gator bites but was brought gator boudin balls instead and was told once they arrived that they no longer offered the bites. I should have been told that prior. This is just not what I expected at all. I was surprised to see that there were only four families in the restaurant on a Saturday. Perhaps that not a good sign.

Crab cakes were on point. The fried oysters were as requested, crispy outside, just cooked inside. The raw oysters were attached on the halfshell so I could slurp them off the shell.

Service was personable and great.

A good meal at the end of a long drive. Cheers.

I was really impressed with Shuckers, it’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal or a drink on game night. On Thursday nights they have live entertainment and they even have an outside area that’s perfect for watching the game and sipping on your favorite beverage. The food was Good and the service was Great, all the employees were friendly, Kimberlyn (our waitress) made sure everything was perfect. the restaurant is nicely decorated and most important very clean! Thumbs up

I got the chargrilled oysters and wasn’t expecting it to have cheese. Everyone makes them different. My husband enjoyed his raw oysters and redfish voodoo. Our server was friendly and establishment was clean.

I ate here today with my family for lunch and let me tell you, that was some of the best crawfish I’ve ever tasted in my life. It was seasoned so deliciously and the corn and potatoes were cooked to perfection. The service was prompt and friendly, our waitress was super sweet. 10/10 recommend and will be going back for more

Shuckers Seafood & Oyster Bar – don’t know how they are still open, the building might as well be vacant. Horrendous service, subpar food. Seafood is definitely not their strong point and they aren’t fit to cook it much less serve it.
This is not a one time occurrence- this comes after several attempts since March 2022. Service is only bearable when the owner is present (some people don’t want to be bothered to actually work and it shows). The food- either burnt, over cooked, falling apart or chewy like rubber.
I wish them the best. Hopefully they will get things in order and if you visit, don’t sit near the restrooms, you’ll smell it.
I would leave an review on their Facebook page however it seems they remove reviews that happen to be negative.

Check out these voodoo egg rolls though the worst.

Got there at 5:00 on Friday afternoon. 2 people wanted gumbo. They were out. One wanted alligator bites. They were out. Asked waiter for melted butter for crab legs. Never got it. Did not get any drink refills. Food was OK but nothing really good. Waited 35 minutes to get check and it was all mixed up. 7 of us made two trips in one to this place, our first and last!!!

We ate here last night, 8/17, my husband got boiled shrimp.
1. Ridiculously priced. I know it’s more to have them served to you already being peeled but still very small shrimp at $14lb. Is absurd.
2. they were seasoned after they were cooked. And they tasted awful. Too much seasoning. You’re supposed to season the water you boil them in.
3. He ended up have to go throw up while we were there. It was so bad.

I got the crab legs. Which I was so excited about.
1. For the price of 5 clusters for $45. Now that’s a good price.
2. They tasted good and were cooked perfectly. But they were aslo seasoned after being cooked.
3. I got sick when we got home.

We also got the voodoo rolls for our appetizer and they are usually good but this time they were extremely overcooked.

My grandparents went a couple weeks ago and they got differnt food but the same experience. They stayed sick for a couple days.

At this point it seems like shuckers should just be a bar.
