Meh…. While I realize grants pass has mediocre expectations in general? This was a waste…. We were missing half our order and the half we got wasn’t worth giving them a second chance. Dry bbq chicken, unsalted Mac salad and a pineapple Cole slaw. Pineapple Cole slaw sounds like a new and different thing that could possibly be the deal sealer; it’s not… It’s coleslaw mix with canned crushed pineapple and a little cilantro. It’s not even a good flavor mix.
So onto the next good BBQ expectation… Sauce! Yup… It’s bullseye. Not even enough for the small amount of food they actually sent with the door dash person. It’s all good tho… I already had one of the best bbq sauces available via grocery store and mass production, on tap, on my fridge. The Mac salad, was again, without seasoning and plain.
So if you actually want bbq that you’ll crave when you want bbq? Either make it yourself with bullseye (waaaaay cheaper lol) or get sweet tea (which has their own issues so get Medford sweet tea) or get Leo’s. Sammy’s either should have done their research before opening here or watch their employees better to make sure they are making things correctly. The latter was just me trying to give them some benefit for the doubt…

You are correct! The order wasn’t under my name. It was under my fiance’s. You are also correct, if be better off making it home. Maybe it was Stubb’s? Either way, we expected better or at a bare minimum, dinner for our son(bbq chicken bowl and also some of the beef spring rolls, at risk of this sounding as tho I made this review all up) which is what we did not receive. The rest of the order we did receive was 2 other meals. 1 with Mac salad, slaw, bbq chicken and pulled pork, the other with 2 sides rice and bbq chicken. Sorry our opinions differ on your slaw and Mac salad. To each their own. Thanks for the response as well! God bless you too….lol

It just don’t have much flavor. Sorry ya’ll. It just doesn’t. Pretty spendy too. I’ll try again in 6 months. (Nice people though, even met 1 of the owners and he was super nice)
