Amazing pizza. Yes, it takes a bit to prepare, but totally worth the wait. Fresh ingredients, made with care for the food. Dining felt like we were back in Italy. We were not rushed and enjoyed our time. The staff were very nice and responsive to any requests. Our favorite place and a must anytime friends are in town. Don’t want to wait? Call ahead.

Last night was our first experience at this restaurant & our last. Service was good, but that’s about it.
Country music BLARING through the place was not pleasant and the food was very overpriced for the poor quality. I will gladly pay $14 for a good meal, but the Manicotti was just slop.
I would have gone with the Lasagna, but they didn’t have any…on a Friday night.
We won’t be back.

Service was decent and friendly. Portions were pretty damn big. Had the ravioli, wouldn’t say they were fresh handmade and the sauce was a little plain for taking 8 hours to make. If you’re looking for Italian in Sparta, this is the place to go. Since there are no other options.

My wife and I only recently moved to Sparta and don’t know the area restaurants very well. One of my wife’s co-workers lives in Sparta and suggested we try Italiano’s, so we gave it a whirl last night. Are we glad we did! The food was excellent (we ordered the Lasagna and the Spicy Spaghetti), and so was the service. The owner came to our table and welcomed us to the area, it was very nice of him. We plan on making Italiano’s one of our regular stops!

This is a sad change. We have been here 6 or 7 times in the last 3 years but will never go there again. We noticed a decline last year but this visit topped the cake. We eat out a lot and and this place is now tied for 1st for our worst experience in 34 years. The service was so incredibly inept that I felt like we were in a comedy skit. The lead waitress was covered in cat hair. Gross. You truly had to be there to appreciate these 2 in action. There were 3 tables of 2 and it was obvious we all shared the same frustration with the service. Just getting our beer order was particularly difficult but I still held out hope for the food. I ordered baked spaghetti and my husband ordered a small pizza extra crispy. My portion was much smaller then in the past but at least I was able to eat it. They must have somehow forgotten to make my husbands pizza and simply brought out my spaghetti with 2 plates to share. We reminded them that he ordered a pizza. When it was finally brought out, 2/3 of the pizza was undercooked (raw dough still left in the crust). This is exactly opposite of what we ordered. We took it home and tried to salvage it by baking it some more but ended up throwing it out. I’m so bummed about the decline in this place.

Friendly staff, good pizza, decent pasta. You can’t go wrong getting pizza here. The pasta on the other hand is noting too special. Kinda pricy with smaller portions. Their marinara sauce is pretty good. If you’re gonna go here, just get the pizza.

When we arrived there was only one employee there and they’d been open over an hour. He provided prompt and courteous service; however the 1st item I ordered they were out of and then they were out of the second item as well. I ended up just ordering the stuffed shells. Which were ok but not anything special. My friend ordered a pizza and that was better than the pasta.

I love the pizza bread. Hands down my absolute favorite. The owner is a very down to earth guy. The portions are just right, especially for some big men with empty stomachs. My friend ate meat ravioli today and a cannoli and loved both.

This is a rather classical Italian restaurant. The atmosphere was more upscale than what you may find at Applebee’s or Olive Garden. The staff was a bit young, the waitress (barely 21) was unable to recommend a good wine pairing with my food. But, she did recommend a good dish to try out (though I get the feeling just about anything there would be good). And despite it seeming like a nice place to take a date, the prices were fairly reasonable, most dishes in the mid-teens. Definitely a nice way to support the local businesses.

I’ve been to a lot of different restaurants around the country and from my experience in the past few months that I’ve been at Ft. McCoy, there are many restaurants around here rated highly that have turned out to be awful. This is definitely one of them. I figured it wouldn’t hurt to give it a try but not only were the employees rude, the food was way overpriced for what you get. It was bland and watered down sauces with small portions and burnt garlic toast. I placed my order online and when I came in to pick it up I was certainly not impressed. There was one person at the bar and 3 people sitting in the dining area and the woman who was serving them completely blew me off for a little bit. I walked around to sort of get her attention and she didn’t even greet me she just said “give me a minute” before I could tell her I was just here to pick up. She wasn’t friendly and didn’t ask me if I needed anything. She told me it would be a few minutes and went to talk to the cook in the back and I could hear them cussing and carrying on about getting the order together. She rang me up for my food and it cost $2 more than what the online menu from their website said because apparently there was an updated menu. Then she just handed me my receipt and walked away and I had to find out for myself that my food was sitting at the end of the bar. Also no silverware or napkins included. $14.95 for gross food and rude employees was a no go for me. If you’re from out of town and want good food and service stay away.
