Italian Bistro has been my favorite restaurant on the coast since my husband and I first discovered it a few years ago. For about the first year, I used to order the Shrimp Scampi each time because it was Scampi exactly the way I loved it but couldn’t find anywhere else – just the right about of lemon, butter and wine in the sauce, plump, juicy shrimp and pasta cooked just right. Eventually I decided to branch out and try other things and have been equally happy with each item I’ve tried – salads, lasagna, spaghetti and meatballs, chicken piccata and the pizza. Homemade bread comes with each meal and it with everything else is to perfection! The atmosphere is pleasant too, a comfortable restored space with touches of Italian. I must mention that I love and appreciate when restaurants use the white paper tablecloths. Such is the case at the Bistro and as I’ve observed, this method requires the staff to remove everything from the table EACH TIME a customer leaves, they replace the old with new fresh, clean paper, then carefully wipe and replace each item back when returning it to the table. Kudos to the Bistro! Can’t wait until the next time I get over there to see you!

Garlic knots 9/10, slightly tougher but still good
Mozzarella sticks 10/10, perfectly crispy
Lobster ravioli 10/10, such a good price for that amazing of a dish
Chicken Parmesan 10/10, definitely not overdone or tough
Tiramisu 10/10, best texture I’ve experienced in a tiramisu
I will even go as far to say this is the best Italian food I’ve ever had! (And I’ve had a lot lol)

Their pizza is so good! I ask for thin crust so it’s more well done and crunchy. I get the supreme with no ham. I love the sauce and the fact there isn’t a lot of it and the crust flavor is as close to my homemade as I’ve ever eaten. My go to Pizza now!

Restaurant located in a great location, but the entrance with photos of the dishes on the glass, lowers the style a lot.
Inside the place has an air, very old and with dated furnishings, paper tablecloth is not for a bistro.
The quality of the food is good, especially the desserts.
Definitely not a place for couples or romantic dinners, as the tradition of Italian restaurants wants.

Rude service, pretentious, dress up and dine in if that’s your style, if not, order take out or door dash it because the only server that was friendly was the young hostess and she was a sweetheart. Better yet make a big dish of lasagna and spaghetti at home and save yourself the hassel. When Im treated less than respectfully, I don’t give second chances.

Have heard friends and co-workers raving about this place so I wanted to try it, thinking there was no way it could possibly be as good as they were saying. Well, for possibly the first time in my life, I’m glad I was wrong! EVERYTHING was fantastic, from the sweet tea to the Bruschetta, and to our salads and entrees plus dessert. But to be fair, my one small quibble is the price of some of the items, such as $12 for the appetizer and $10 for the dessert. Those selections were good, but I don’t believe I’d order them again at that price point. Despite that, we had a great meal and our server Makayla did an excellent job taking care of us. We’re already looking forward to a future visit and hope Italian Bistro will be in business for many years to come!

We stopped in Pascagoula for lunch and so happy we found this Bistro! Very quaint dining area, food was so good and our server was nice! We wanted Italian food and this was the perfect place! Will return soon!

Great food. I had the ball which was tender and cooked properly. My other 2 guest had lasagna which had great portions that they had some to take home. We had canoli that was great but on this I may be a little bias. The interaction with the staff was great. They answered any questions we had with detail and patience.
