We came into this restaurant looking for a nice and relaxing experience/atmosphere to enjoy dinner with our family. As soon as we walked in the door, we were greeted by the friendliest people and staff, they were so loving and kind to our two-year-old son, and made us feel right at home. Our waitress Taylor was outstanding as well as the rest of the staff that we had interaction with! The food was incredible. We started off with Miso soup which was great, We then ordered a California roll, Crunchy roll, Spider roll, and lastly, the strawberry diamond roll, which was my favorite. We had plenty of leftovers to take with us. Lol. Overall amazing experience would totally recommend to anyone looking for A peaceful dining experience!

We have been here several times in the last year after asking for suggested Sushi places on the Lafayette Foodies group on Facebook. Samurai was HIGHLY suggested, it was a toss up with a few other places but we chose to try here. We have never had a bad experience, it’s a hidden gem. It’s like a whole in the wall, hidden in a dark ally But that’s an advantage because you have to know it’s there lol. We tried to narrow down our favorites, and I am sure there are plenty we haven’t tried. We love the ULL ROLL, LSU ROLL, ACADIANA ROLL the best ! We were there last night and our server Morgan was very helpful and made suggestions to make sure we liked what was in each roll. She was genuinely helpful !! Thats rare these days in servers so I appreciate it when we get a good one ! I have no desire to eat sushi anywhere else in the area as I have finally found sushi I absolutely love. It’s not just “ok” !

The manager Hannah always makes sure that everyone is pleased and taken care of. The wait staff is always smiling and helpful. The Sushi Chefs (itamaes) are outstanding (Greyson is our fav)

My boyfriend and I have been coming here for over 8 years! The food is always incredible. The servers are cheerful and helpful. The sushi chef are amazing. Even if it’s months in between the time we visit they always remember us and greet us with smiles. The prices of the rolls are wonderful you can have a full course meal for two for around 40 to 50 dollars.

Visited today on lunch today on my break we were seated promptly and our drinks came out quickly as well. Ordered food and appetizers within ten Mins of being seated. Girlfriend’s food came out fairly quick and she was happy with hers. My food took over 45 minutes to come out. It became a to go order and i was late to work. Upon eating the food i found multiple hairs in my lo mein and the veggies were burnt. Will never come back (please keep in mind I loved this place and have been here multiple times this was the one and done bad experience for me)
