In 1967, we opened our doors in Abilene, TX to share fresh, authentic Mexican food. Embracing the New
Just throwing people food up, tacos broken up with cheese and lettuce everywhere- all in the bag and not wrapped up properly! Chose not to remake it. Get out of the service industry if u hate serving and or have very low hospitality. Dissatisfied is an understatement. I really should have just bypassed them because the food isnt really my taste no way. Looking for something quick (shaking my head) I knew better!

Went thru the drive thru tonight around 8pm. I ordered the Chilada platter and 2 cheesecake chimis. The young man at the drive thru handed me the bag, the incorrect way. I got home and was holding the bag to ensure my food did not fall out. Too late pretty much all of my food was in the bottom of the bag. The thing it comes in, does not look like the rice/beans/guacamole/ & sourcream were even put in the place they go as those two areas had no trace of anything. So, I tried to call for 30 minutes and phone constantly busy. Perhaps to avoid complsint calls. I paid $12.43 and all I can eat is the chilada which is half missing from falling out.
I have had a couple of issues I have let slide, but not this time. I am not a big Taco Bell fan, but think I will take my business there moving forward. Nothing like cheesecake chimis coveted in beans

Pulled up to the drive-thru and the lady taking my ordered seemed as she was ready to go home . We ordered tacos, burritos and some cheesecake chimis. We basically threw the food away at the gas station down the street. The food was cold and the taco shells were VERY STALE . Since we ordered 15 tacos I take it the whole batch was bad and surprised they didn’t know this beforehand.
If you do order tacos make sure you taste them before leaving.

I love Taco Bueno but this experience was very disappointing. It too about 10 minutes for me to get my food and when I received my order the two chicken street tacos had a mixer of good and bad cilantro. I tried to call the store but the phone rung three times then the line went busy. I tired going inside to speak with someone but the doors were locked. The drive thru started to get a line, so I decided to leave and just post this review to warn people.

Went there today 8/1/21 to dine in and they put for carry out. My boyfriend and I still sat down to dine in anyways & when I opened my order the beans were sitting in a puddle of grease.Sour cream and guacamole were just plopped in the middle of beans & rice instead of being on a chip like it normally comes.They had no napkins, no one acknowledged our entrance or exit because all too busy on their phones.For this business to be in the entertainment district of Arlington the food and service is very poor.We will not be eating nor recommending this place to anyone.

I’m not sure who hired their unskilled prima to work here, but this vessel on duty at 8PM October 4 is quite unprofessional and not on the level of the other ladies working here, with their cordial promptness. She’s not well-suited for customer service.

Be fair warned. Something is consistently Very wrong at this location. This is happening every time now. We again waited an actual 30 minutes for three tacos, when there were no other customers visible or in the drive thru. The guy was nice albiet unkempt, but no bueno no more. This used to be our favorite restaurant, but it doesn’t qualify as food service anymore. The food was cold even. They do not have a staff, much less a competent one. Red flags people! After waiting that long for cold food, my car died from sitting so long (no joke) and I couldn’t even bring myself to eat the cold food because everything was so weird. Had to get a ride somewhere else to eat.

Usually consistent with my high standards for Taco Bueno. Sometimes the regular hot sauce is unreasonably painfull.
Update June 2023: I quit going for 3 years after a string of bad experiences. Not just bad by Taco Bueno’s normally high standards. Bad food and service. Tried last month, dining room was closed 30min early. But hey, they were probably short-staffed! It happens. Went later, everything was great. Today: sadness. Good service. Store stocked and clean. Ingredients fresh, but seriously underportioned in taco, muchaco, and bean burrito. I wish I could count on this site to be great, with consistency, like Tsco Buenos were for decades. Or at least good.

Ordered through DoorDash on multiple occasions as the food quality is typically fresh, but it’s almost as if it’s everyone’s first day on the job. In the event you add extra items to your order, they’ll prepare the food as is and provide you with to-go cups so you can undo the food at home and re-build. So incredibly ridiculous. Done with Taco Bueno.
