Stopped in for a couple beers and shots. Bartender was very friendly prompt and accommodating. The beers were nice and cold. Prices were standard maybe a little cheaper than other similar establishments.

Drinks are fairly strong. They’re generous with the alcohol.
I do wish there was a smoking/non-smoking section to the outdoor seating area though.
They have recently added corn hole outside which is nice.
Overall very clean and nice staff.

One of the best bars in this town, it’s more of a relaxed and chill place to hang out, not a club environment at all, there’s a pool table, trivia night, a bunch of special things, I have to give this place 4 stars because I’ve had some negative experiences here as sad as that is to say, but none the less its a nice place to drop by for a drink. They do not serve food here, but they do have a popcorn machine at the front of the bar which is free and self serve which is a BIG plus, you are able to order food from other places and get it delivered to the bar with no issues which again is nice, you are NOT allowed to bring any of your own alcohol to this place.

This little place is a classic neighborhood bar…it’s like Cheers from the TV show. And the atmosphere varies with the day, and time of day–so you need to visit a few times to see where you fit in. Although it’s a blue-collar bar, don’t be surprised if you see someone studying for their PhD program, or reading a good book. On the other hand, don’t be surprised if everyone in the place is doing a shot of whiskey together and singing karaoke on a Saturday night. Sundays are mellow, except when there’s football on the TV. Barry the bartender has a cult following on Mondays. On Tuesdays, Leslie the bartender attracts an earthy bunch. Wednesday are often trivia. It’s not unusual for there to be a craft night on Thursdays. Friday nights can have some really good local musicians. Check it out.

For a class at ECSU, we had to review a place in Willimantic that we had a history with.
I used to love this bar SO much. Tons of great memories of smoking out on the patio, playing pool, or watching drunk MST3K. Fast service, friendly patrons, and good drinks. Sadly, my ex loved it even more than I did so I kind of ‘lost it in the divorce’. Miss it a ton.
