I saw a lot of very negative feedback on this Giovanni’s. Most at least a year ago.
My first time at this one, and I’m thinking that maybe they’ve changed the staff? Or management? I didn’t see any staff or management acting like in the negative comments. They were all GREAT, and the food we ordered was GREAT! I would recommend this Giovanni’s to anyone! We ordered a 16″ deluxe, a 12″ mushroom, and an anaposta. We dined in. Everything was perfect!

It’s older and needs some updating. However, the bathrooms and dining area were clean and the service was very good.

First and only time ordering from this one and my pizza and breadsticks with cheese were so burnt I could hardly even eat them when I got home. I ate one slice of pizza and couldn’t even eat the crust as it was hard as a rock. Also when I went to pick it up they saw me come to the window and walked the opposite way. I ended up standing there for about 5 minutes when I finally pressed the doorbell and they came back.

If I could’ve gave it a zero I would’ve! The manager was outside smoking the whole time and on her phone, who knows if she even washed her hands. It makes me sick even thinking about it. While I waited for them to fix my pizza she came outside 2 times to smoke and when I pulled up she was also smoking. Anyways My order was messed up, in the past I’ve had this happen once maybe twice and they’ve always fixed it no problem, this time the manager nearly refused to fix the order. She also got very rude and started to raise her voice with me! I literally just had to leave because she got so disrespectful, it was definitely out of line. If she wouldn’t have been on her phone or constantly outside smoking maybe she would’ve got the order right the first time. Also if the case is she don’t like her job she should get a different one then, you shouldn’t work in customer service if you can’t be civil with people! She also came to the front area with her phone on her ear while talking to me. Just so much disrespect, the people who own this company should be ashamed of the employee because past employees would never.

Never even received my pizza after waiting an hour and a half on a Wednesday. they delivered to the wrong house. Then argued with me about issuing me a refund. Then called me back and argued with me again about giving me my refund again. We won’t be back. Horrible customer service!!!

Such an inconsistent company. Never hot fresh pizza even when I show up early. The wings are never ever consistent in size. Cold food and overdrafted our account $60 without any resolution. Don’t recommend eating here

Always professional, always deliver quickly even when extremely busy (within the hour), always informed if the wait may be longer than the usual 30 mins. Food has never failed to meet or exceed expectations. Their 18″ cheese sticks with bacon is amazing. This business has never been stingy with toppings. Food has never been undercooked , it has been a little more well done a few times, but I like that so no complaints from this satisfied customer. 5 stars.

Traveling all day. Decided to stop & have a Giovanni pizza. My husband’s favorite. Pizza was good. Was having a nice meal until a couple with 6 kids came in. They were running and screaming through the place. The parents couldn’t or wouldn’t control them. The kept telling them to sit down but they didn’t. We hurried to finish. My husband asked if they acted that way all the time. Mother said yes. They were just kids. We told her that kids should not act like that in a restaurant. The dad told us to watch what we said. The owners should have said something to them.
We will Never go back to the west Portsmouth Giovannis again.
