We tried Teriyaki Bao, Satay Bao, Chicken Curry Steamed Bao and the Khao Moo Dang Rice Bowl and everything was absolutely delicious. Glad we gave this place a try! Food quality is excellent and the flavors were spot on. So-White cocktail was refreshing and perfectly balanced.

Very quaint and nice restaurant. At first we didn’t see anyone in the front so we ordered at the kiosk and sat down. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. I will definitely be back.

Baotastic! Large bao buns with some great combinations. They also offer bowls with proteins. I had the pork belly bao and sesame chicken bao. Both were delicious. Maybe the best sesame chicken the I have ever had. Worth it.

Met my daughter for lunch. Great place, will be back many times. We got 2 bau buns and a chicken satay salad. Buns where Seasame Chicken and a Chicken Katsu. The flavors were dynamite!

I ordered the Bamee Moo Dang – an egg noodle with savory pork and bok choy in soy sauce gravy sauce – and it was fantastic. Very sweet and savory indeed! I enjoyed the meal with a passion fruit green tea drink pairing within a warm-toned atmosphere; a very welcoming and relaxing place amidst the cold New England winter. I am coming back soon to try to bao buns!

A small unassuming restaurant that has tasty, quality food! The hot oil wontons, pork belly bun, and crab rangoon were all delicious. Perfect blend of flavors that give a respectful nod to their Asian origins while exceeding expectations for when you’re looking for nostalgic Asian American food.

I really wish I did not have to give it 1 star. I had the teriyaki chicken rice bowl. The chicken was cold and rock hard which is surprising for thigh meat. It was definitely made well in advanced and there is no telling how long it had been sitting. I’m guessing that they make certain items in advance, buffet style. Menu items are a bit overpriced but rent is high in Downtown Portsmouth so to be expected. I come here a lot but tonight was the worst yet. I usually get fried chicken dishes which need to be made fresh. So I will stick to that going forward.

Everything we had was delicious. The hot oil wonton was our favorite. We have been twice so far and both times we enjoyed everything we had. It’s a great new addition to the area, I just wish they were open a bit later! I would highly recommend.

Fantastic spot! We went for lunch, got three buns and 1 sandwich (traditional bun, teriyaki bun, barbecue pork, and japanese curry fried chicken sandwich). Super fast service and food was hot and delicious. Definitely try the sandwiches, they’re awesome! Can’t wait to come back

Super cute place! The staff was very friendly. Everything came out quickly & was hot and fresh. I got the khao moo dang and it was delicious!!! My boyfriend got the pork belly bao and he said it was really good and full of flavor. It’s a bit pricey. We spent about $30 on these two items but I didn’t mind because we were trying something new. If you’re in the area it’s definitely worth stopping in and trying something here. There are plenty of tables and chairs so you don’t have to worry about not having a place to sit after ordering.
