We did the 14-course meal and every dish was packed with flavor. The ingredients tasted incredibly fresh, and you can tell they’re legitimately sourced from Japan and other known countries. Nicole took great care of us throughout the night, and the chef absolutely delivered with each course — I just wish I remembered to ask for his name.

We’ll definitely be back and next time we’re bringing friends!

Staff are very nice! Fish portions feel a little small but presentation was fantastic. The shrimp + uni, scallop, miso fish (don’t remember what it was called), and oyster to start was the best. Very nice of them to give us a mochi dessert on the house at the end! Only other con was that the food court got a little loud at the end.

I was catfished by the reviews and photos so here’s an honest review from an avid omakase goer.

Honestly, the food and ambiance were both below expectations. Some of the fish didn’t taste fresh, and the rice tasted cold. The restaurant also looks much nicer in photos than it does in person, so the ambiance felt completely different from what we expected.

We went for Valentine’s Day, and since we usually do omakase for special occasions, we were expecting a better experience. For example, typically restaurants provide us with a menu at the end so we can order more of what we like but they didn’t offer us a menu after the 16 courses.

I would skip this place and spend the money somewhere more worth it, especially if we’re talking about NY where there’s hundreds of amazing omakase experiences available.

***extremely small portions***

i did a walk-in for 2 for the $68/14 course omakase and the portions were so small. i’ve been to nearly 10+ omakase spots around nyc and the fish size was extremely disappointing…

it’s nearly half the thickness of the usual fish that i’d get at any other spot for the same price.

the service was amazing, so no hate to that. but please please consider increasing the size of your fish and rice… i’m so sad.

We got the 12 course omakase for $68. Overall, it was fresh delicious fish for a great price. The sushi is very straightforward (not overly complicated or super creative), and they had a good variety of flavors and textures. The otoro hand roll was my favorite, but every single piece was good. And the chef and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

11-course omakase for $50 – not bad, nothing special. Satisfies any omakase cravings you may have. Service was great.
