I came here because the San Francisco Chronicle listed it as one of the best 10 tamales in the bay area. I was not disappointed. It’s not traditional corn masa tamales from Mexico, but rather rice or potato masa tamales. The sauces are wonderful the meat is tender, and the tamales melt in your mouth. The nice lady behind the counter was very helpful in helping me make my choices. I bought six different tamales to take home. I’ll be back.

I am English and true latin american food doesnt really exist in the UK. This place is excellent. The food is fresh and great value. The enchilada is really, really good. The staff are friendly and the menu is big and includes dishes I havent heared of. Guatemalan food/style is something different too. 5 star. next to “Johnny Franklin Mufflers”.
