One of the worst, if not the worst experience so far. I’m writing this as I’m still getting loaded. I’ve been here for 6 hours. I went inside at the 4 hours mark, and was told that they would be done soon. And just went back in the 6 hours mark, to be told that I’m halfway done. I don’t know what they’re are doing back there to be loading a trailer for 6 hours and only be halfway done, but whatever it is, it’s without any regard to the driver’s time. And I hate to know that even after writing this review, nothing will be done about it. I wish we could be boycotting certain places.

Finally leaving after 14 hours. Note that I was on On duty Loading for about an hour, then changed to sleeper

Appointment 2359
Load was ready when I arrived.
Need to cross the scale on your way in. The guard will waive a red flag when you can proceed. You parked your empty to the left. Needs to be clean and full of fuel. Tandems need to be slid back when you drop. For prime truck drivers there’s not a close washout for a close fueling place. You stop before the scales on the way out to see the guard. They have you go back over the scale again and wave the red flag when you’re able to leave. If you’re overweight they will come out to tell you. They do have overnight parking there.

Got there an hour and a half early for a drop and hook but instead made us do a live load, took 2 hours to get a door and then almost 8 hours in the dock, very much lack of communication from shipping/receiving, and yard dogs very impatient while I was backing into dock with the very little space they have. Was late to my delivery because of this smh.

I would have to say the worst experience. Arrived early and was told its a FCFS basis here. To find out 10 trucks are ahead of me all of a sudden. Not to mention me and my driver show up which he gets loaded right away while im in the back still waiting. Then was told frequently “your next to get a door.” And then deliberately watch other trucks come and go. No respect for drivers times. And no decency to tell you the truth. Tyson really needs to work on these warehouses. Pack a lunch breakfast and dinner if you come here.

Not a fun place. The guard shack was rude. The only reason they got two stars instead of one is because the yard dogs were really nice. The woman at the guard shack was not clear with instructions and she had me pull onto the scale when I came in even though I wasnt lined up with the scale originally she made me back out and ask other drivers to move to get on the scale. Had to back almost to the street to make it on their narrow scale. On the way out to avoid the same mishap I pulled right onto the scale to scale out and she demanded I back off the scale and as I mentioned it was super narrow. I havent been driving too long and wound up backing off the scale. Instead of even feeling bad she just kept asking me when the wrecker was coming to get me off the scale. Super rude lady. Anyway here’s a picture.

The ladies n the guard shack were lovely…I’d give 0 stars due to the guy n shipping lying about getting good phone reception knowing full well u won’t…now I’m sitting up here way earlier than I would’ve with no reception cause of a lie…and ain’t no telling how long they’re going to take to load me…never again!! Next time I’m coming minutes before my appointment time…if i ever come back

Weigh truck and Trailer at entrance. Have pickup number ready.Drop Trailer in gravel lot just left of scale or along road that you will travel to plant.
Fresh shipping at top of slight hill end of plant on right. ( on left once you park) Walk under steal cover to shipping door.
Freezer Shipping left at guard shack on left sign FP Shipping Office on right side of docks. All incoming Empty Trailers MUST be FULL of FUEL and WASHED OUT.
Freezer receiving (corridor) in middle of plant on right. Sign FP Receiving.

Directions to Tyson Plant US 431 to AL 131 GO NORTH. (South bound right, North bound left) traffic signal at intersection. Go appox. 8 miles to AL Cnty 79 turn right (Baker Hill). Go approx 2 miles Tyson on right

Best CAT Scale is in Phenix City, AL. 61 miles north. If headed north.
Scale at plant is difficult to get accurate axle weight because of steep angle when leaving.
