Excellent food tucked away in a small store. Great vegan menu and plenty of options for non vegan folk as well from the other cafe menu.

Samosa: 8/10
Pakora: 8/10
Baingan Bharta: 10/10
Aloo Bhaji: 10/10

Definitely a great place to go.

Update: I visited again with a West Bengali friend to eat at the cafe and we were not disappointed. The lunch special for $5.99 is a terrific deal and the other entrees and apps are tasty and good value. Previously, I visited the grocery shop and look forward to returning to taste the food on the tasty looking menu. The grocery is clean, bright, and well stocked. They have abundant frozen whole fish, as you might expect in a Bangladeshi grocery. Tons of spices, lentils, and prepared food. Everyone in the shop was very friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for Indian and Bangladeshi groceries, check this place out! Now. I need to plan a lunch date here, soon…

I have not been in person but I stumbled across them on Uber eats one day. So far I’ve ordered 4 times. The food is so flavorful!! The portions are great. Ive had the Pakora, Samosas, Saag Aloo, Chaana Bhaji. Butter Chicken, the garlic Naan and Paratha Bread. I have been happy with everything I’ve ordered so far.

Very nice owner and staff, friendly and appreciate their hospitality. He offered Indian tea and bottled drinking water and didn’t charge for that. Ordered non-vegetarian food, mixed plater and goat curry with rice. Asked for extra spicy and they were afraid we cannot eat the highest spice level and encouraged to order spice level 5-6. One dish was level 5 and was Indian spicy and goat curry was level 8 and was super spicy for Indian spice level. Enjoyed the food, very authentic with homemade spice paste as described by the owner Mr. Biswas. Tea was ok and was good with the Pakoda came with mixed plater. Highly recommend this place for take out or quick dine-in. Of course, do not expect a typical restaurant experience. We enjoyed dine-in with comfy seating.

This place is a hidden gem, especially for lunch. I wasn’t feeling too well & wanted to try a restaurant with vegan options. They had a lunch special that sounded delicious but I opted to try the garbanzo beans instead & I feel like it brought me back to life! The lady in the back didn’t notice me so I was about to leave but the owner came expeditiously with great customer service & took care of us! My children really enjoyed the naan. Definitely will be back. Thanks!

Ordered the Goat Biriyani. The spice level was through the roof and I love it. A hidden gem. I will definitely alternate between eating here and the Peruvian restaurant next door. Both the owner and cook were very friendly.

I try as many Indian places as I can. This one has to be one of the best I’ve been to. Not only the food, but the service was also excellent. In the back of an Indian grocery store so you know they have all the freshest items. I got the Goat curry 9/10 spicy and it was spicy for sure. Looking forward to coming back again and getting the 10. I went to Bismillah Cafe down the road and was disappointed, so I recommend to all looking for good Indian on Buford highway to come here first.

I was looking forward to finding a hole in the wall place with great food. I did not find that here. In fact, it’s possibly the worst Indian food I’ve ever had in my life (I started eating Indian food 21 years ago).

The first yellow flag was when I saw the two guys microwave food in the kitchen.

I bought $40 of food to go, thinking I’ll just have an extra meal later. I ended up throwing the whole thing away.

The food was not fresh. The naan was soggy. The chicken tikka masala taste it like a frozen dinner meal. The curry vegetable was decent. The daal was over cooked.

On the positives, the two guys that staffed the kitchen and front of the store were very friendly. I feel bad giving this a poor rating but it is that bad.

So authentic real Indian cuisine, low profile, so kind Indian cook, I felt like we were in his house and he cooked for us! He asked how hot we wanted our spicy dishes from 1-10… we love hot food so we asked 5 & 6, wow very hot but like a bomb or amazing flavors! I feel that is long time i haven’t tried original 100 % food from India. Don’t care the plastic dishes really, it was totally real! We chat and felt to comfortable…

Tucked inside this grocery store is a little Bangladeshi gem! It’s super casual but seriously delicious, and the prices are so reasonable!

For drinks, my friend went for a mango lassi (classic and refreshing!), while I grabbed a soda from the grocery store. To start, we ordered the veggie pakoras and samosas, and they were perfectly seasoned and so flavorful!

For mains, we got aloo gobi, baingan bharta (a delicious eggplant curry), and saag paneer. The aloo gobi and saag paneer had the same curry base, which was just okay, but the baingan bharta? Absolutely amazing! Each curry came with rice, but we also added naan and a goat biryani to the mix both were so good! There were good amount of pieces of goat in the biryani!

Overall, it’s a super laid-back spot, but we were really impressed with the food. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area and craving something flavorful and affordable!
