If you have not been, you are missing out. We called with 20 minutes notice on a Saturday afternoon with a party of 7 and they had a table ready on arrival. If deciding what to order. There is nothing on the menu that you won’t love as we all got different things and tried them. If you like pho, you will never have a better version than their Rice Noodle Soup. There is more flavor than you knew was possible in a broth. The green beans are a must and the Loc Lac (Shaken Shaved Steak) is to die for! I mean, have you seen a more perfectly cooked sunny side up egg in your life? One thing to note is as far as I can tell and unless there’s a sneaky entrance, it is not ADA so make sure stairs are accessible for you and your party. It is counter service downstairs and the seating is upstairs but the food and service is worth the extra steps.

Service was delivering the food to the table. Get your own water napkins silverware etc.

The only indication this place exists is the OPEN flag waving about. The sign in the door is very hard to read. You order first then go upstairs to wait for food to be delivered. Highly recommend the lemon chicken. We also got the wide noodles with braised beef, the flower kiss drink, and the pork belly spring rolls. All of it was delicious.

Very very good food. I am not sure if it was authentically “Cambodian”, I have never been to Cambodia, but if you like Vietnamese or Indonesian food this place does it right.

Oun Lido’s is a FANTASTIC new Cambodian restaurant in the heart of Portlands Old Port district. My partner and I had the Banh Chao Fresh Roll, Mi Goreng, Fried Rice Cakes with Lemon Herb Sauce, and the Coconut Lime Slushie with boba. Everything was UNBELIEVABLE. So flavorful, fresh, and came very quick. Wait staff were super friendly and knowledgeable and the chef accommodated a few specific dietary modifications, which we appreciated. The vibes are great too – as the space is decorated nicely and the music was very jazzy/vibey. I would absolutely eat here again very soon and I will tell everyone I know to go here too. I love Oun Lido’s so so so so so much. The staff are the absolute most kind lovely people. If you have questions or need suggestions they’ll guide you so well. I love to get flower kiss slushies with basil seeds in the summer and the hot lemon honey tea in the winter. The bao breakfast sandy is such a flavorful bite. I could eat the Bobur everyday. The potstickers are so freaking good. The vibe is super chill and relaxed, there’s always cool art on the walls and good music you likely have never heard before. Just go.

Oun Lido’s has the most delicious food you’ve never had. The Hot Lemon Chicken? Spiced, citrusy, perfectly fried yet juicy. The Mee Kathung? Tender rice noodles coated in a savory, complex delicious sauce and topped with crispy yet melt in the mouth beef, honestly I can’t stop thinking about it. The Kathew Cha? Chewy noodles that tasted like a caramelized tangy pad thai, absolutely delicious. The Bobor? Savory congee with surprising depth, reminds me of a cozy bed in winter. And honestly, washing all those delicious food down with the Coconut Lime and Flower Kiss smoothie was the best decision I made on a Saturday.

I was initially dissuaded by the illegible hipster website but everything about this restaurant is phenomenal. The Mee Kathung was fantastic, the short ribs were tender and crisped on the outside, and the noodles were delicious. Atmosphere is nice as well, not particularly in-your-face, which I prefer. Good price for the quality as well. It’s also clear from their social media that they care about the community around them and have good politics, fundraisers, etc. Nice to see.
