We went here when our normal place was closed for the week and we were craving hawaiian bbq and no offense to the service,which was exceptional, but the food is just not good. Value wise they give good portions, the katsu chicken is thick but the flavor is lacking. Even the bbq ribs and beef were wanting more. C+C on the east side blows this place out of the water.

Every time I’ve ordered, wether in person or doordash, the order has been perfect and food was delicious. I’ve tried the BBQ chicken, chicken katsu, spam musubi, and Thai tea boba. They’ve all been really good. Their macaroni salad is THE BEST.

I don’t know what yall are eating but my food had no season absolutely none!!! Katsu was greasy and no salt. Macroni is gross. No seasoning!!! Crab ragoon is soggy not crispy at all. What a waste!! Save your time!! To expensive to not be edible. I’m not happy at all.

The food is really good and it’s very filling. Staff are very welcoming and patient. Though the restaurant is small, but it is kept clean and tidy. Prices are very good for such a small place, but quality is not sacrificed. I will continue to eat here whenever I /get a chance. Hopefully they keep it up 🙂 Following added as of 7/1/2025. Recently I had gone back with a friend of mine and was pretty shocked. The portions of the meals have been reduced and in a very sneaky way too. So, they serve their food in your typical clamshell foam containers. But what they changed the the size of the container. The new container is only about 85% of the one I had at the time of my review. Though the portions look the same, because of the slight size change, it’s had to notice. I took a few trips to confirm. I new something felt off and I found out why. Reminded me of the Shrinkflation. Thought they would not go that route but like anything else, it’s a business first, costumers be damned. Noting though the food still tastes the same but now seeing this does leave a bad taste after all this. A shame really.

I have been going to this place for years. Today I placed my order and had to correct the cashier multiple times. I even asked her again at the end that they were not plates just the chicken. I only wanted chicken. She still charged me for the plates. When I got home ready to eat, I was shocked that the order was still wrong. I called the restaurant and was transferred to I believe the manager, Leo. He told me that I needed to return the rice and the salad to get a refund. He also kept stating that it was miscommunication on both sides. No, just on your side because I was pretty clear. A first grader could have gotten the order correct. So I had to drive back to the restaurant to get a refund at that point I wanted them to refund me everything. You messed up, but I have to waste my time to rectify the issue. Last time I will patronize this restaurant. I see why the letter dropped to a B.
