Shipley’s Doughnuts and Kolaches are a mouth full of bready goodness! I lived in the NW for the past few years and they don’t have Kolaches (gasp). On my return to SETX Shipley’s didn’t disappoint! Location is convenient, service was quick and friendly. The only downfall is what they will do to my waistline!

I’ve been here for almost 3 years now, but I’m just too lazy to write a review, so here I am 🙂 I mean, this place is absolutely outstanding! Their donuts are heavenly good, especially the hot glaze—if you’re able to get them.….SO ADDICTIVE!!!! Their Kolaches are just on point—warm, soft, and fresh. But it’s not just about the food; the staff is incredibly friendly, making each visit a joyous experience. Hands down, the best donut shop in Orange. Five stars without a doubt!

Their maple iced donuts are to die for! Perfectly sweet with just the right amount of love! This last time I went, I got a dozen glazed and they were still hot and fresh. Best donuts hands down!

Very disappointed. We didn’t really have the money but wanted to make my daughter’s birthday morning memorable. I stopped and got her donuts holes and a pink sprinkle donut with chocolate milk. When I got home, and went to wake her up and surprise her it was a letdown to open the bag and find we had been charged, but the birthday donut wasn’t in the bag at all. I understand mistakes happen, which is why there are three stars instead of one. They have offered to replace it, but leaving work to go back isn’t an option and they can’t correct the charge without me coming in by driving all the way back. #1stWorldProblems but still. Disappointed for baby girls birthday.

Kolaches are awful and bread is usually stale or hard.
The icing on the donuts never seems to set and will rub off on each other or on the bag.
I got an eclair that was not only terrible tasting but they put a tiny bit of cream in the end and that was it.

Not crazy about the plain Shipley donuts but all the rest are great. Nice guy behind the counter and the place always looks clean. I always want to check out the kitchens wherever I eat but of course no one will let me.
