Eat well. Look good. Feel great. All you can find here at The Spot. Open only Thursday through Sunday, this is my favorite breakfast spot compared to the others. During the day, it’s The Spot and later it becomes the Thai restaurant. What a perfect combo in my opinion.
When something is delicious, it’s zero calories. Besides your suitcase unpacked and you can take all the good stuff in. Staff is so sweet and friendly serving up the best Kona coffee. I am a huge fan of the papaya stuffed with yogurt and granola. Healthy but so good. Add a side of spam and you got your protein quota. Bae preferred their Kona breakfast platter which has rice, egss and choice of protein. Also loved their guava passionfruit juice! Don’t forget to save room for the malasadas as well. I try to treat my body as a temple and The Spot lets me spoil it with goodness.

It’s a little confusing to find because it’s actually the Tin Rin Thai restaurant. But the Spot Restaurant operates there in the morning before the Thai restaurants opens at 11am. The service was excellent. We really loved the malasadas because they are fried to order and were slightly crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside. They could be better than Leonard’s malasadas. We ordered the spam musubi which were okay I think they used hoisin sauce instead of teriyaki sauce. We also ordered the kona breakfast platter. Our eggs were slightly over cooked. They were very nice people though they even gave us 4 free mini malasadas to take home.

Stopped by for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised! Food was great – eggs were clearly cooked fresh, bacon was crispy, and the POG was nice and sweet. I was nervous for the low number of reviews but this place was great! And definitely a nice break from the more crowded restaurants nearby.

The Spot Kona is hands down one of my favorite places for breakfast. I’m a sucker for a homemade meal, and their food feels like it’s made with love. The malasadas? Absolutely incredible—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and just the right amount of sweetness. The view is stunning, and the service is top-notch. Super friendly staff that really makes you feel welcome. If you’re in Kona, this is the spot!

Their spam musubi is amazing. We’re going back for more!
Heads up the google maps pin is a little off – The Spot is open for breakfast in the same place the Thai restaurant is.

This was a great place to just sit down and leisurely enjoy freshly made piping hot malasadas and coffee in the morning! A perfect start to the day.

Latte was horrible. Food is not better. Might have been a off day, but I would not recommend.

Change the restroom to both man and woman. That way is more efficient
