Just paid 40 dollars for these two plates smh. My girl got the sweet and sour spare ribs and she wanted fried rice, they said it was an up charge of 2 dollars so we said ok. I wanted to make sure I had a enough ginger scallion sauce for the cold ginger chicken and when I asked how much he said to get extra which would be another two dollars which wasn’t even worth it . After we got our plates we realized that with the up charge for fried rice we give up the option for mac salad. We asked why no more and he said gotta pay extra again! Didn’t make sense we paid extra for the sides or upgrade but they still take away the mac salad. They need to change that asap

The worst food I think I’ve ever had on the island. It all tastes the same, like the frying oil has not been changed in 10 years. Even the pho tastes like the nasty spring rolls.
I recommend anywhere but here!!!

This place has so many delicious options it’s pleasantly hard to decide. We went with the crispy gau gee noodles and salt and pepper pork chops. Both incredibly awesome, Singapore style noodles covered in magical sauce, vegetables cooked to a perfect al dente, ono bits of sliced pork, char siu and succulent shrimp that has that snap crunch of a perfectly prepared shellfish. The pork chops were tasty and had sliced peppers so you can easily control the amount of spice level. The service was really good as well. Nice seating area with comfortable chairs. Can’t wait to go back and try something else off the menu.

Very Disappointed, I think this place is going downhill. I had the four piece spring rolls. It didn’t come with any fresh lettuce, cucumbers, carrots just the dipping sauce that tasted like pure fish sauce. The spring rolls itself tasted old like it was frozen with the date being expired. The oil they used seemed like it has never been changed with a rancid smell, I actually threw the food away for safety reasons. Paying $13.95 was not worth it. I definitely will never go back again…

Great tasting pho. Not too salty and broth has nice flavor. Tendon is my favorite with hearty pieces plus the regular veggie toppings.

First off the prices they advertise on their website are not accurate or up to date. Ordered a lunch special – on website it says 15.95. However, the paper menu says 18.95. So seems like a false advertisement to me.
Called in the order the woman was very cold and not customer service friendly AT ALL.
Get there to pick it up & the lady at the front didn’t speak one word. Just rude. No need to be in customer service if your life is so miserable.
Now, for the food. The beef and broccoli SAUCE was decent. The meat seemed like mystery meat, but it wasn’t beef or it wasn’t a GOOD quality of beef at all. Immediately spit it out. Honey chicken was fine. And the char siu was bland and dry. Menu also advertises Mac salad – I received three scoops of rice.
I wouldn’t dare recommend this place to a soul.

It was Saturday night. I tried to call for pickup, but the phone was busy for a long time, so I went down. I ordered a mini plate. The cashier said they have a special on the regular plate, so I ordered the regular plate instead. The food was very good. Thank you!

I ordered the Local Boy for my boyfriend and Mix Plate for myself and we were both really disappointed with our meals. The rice was all mushy and tasted like paste! Yuck! The chicken katsu had a weird taste and the gravy on the hamburger steak was junk too. I expected a little bit better quality for paying almost $40 for 2 plate lunches. It was my first time eating here and after that experience definitely my last

This place is the best. Mama is one of the very few around town that allow a relaxing sit down restaurant experience nowadays. I ordered the “Local Boy”, my mother ordered the Deep Fried Shrimp, and my sister ordered the BBQ chicken and Fish Jun. No complaints whatsoever from this ‘Local Boy”. Mama was busy and still found time to table service iced waters for 3. Great dine-in experience. Great food.

Never ate at Pho 27, this review is for the Fairwood side of the restaurant. The service is pretty good and the price is fair for the amount of food you get. The food for the most part isn’t very good. The only dishes that I’ve been satisfied with were the Minute Chicken Cake Noodle and the Shrimp/Fish tempuras. Their spring rolls and gau gee had a sort of metallic taste to them. Chicken katsu and fried fish had a dusty texture in the breading. Char siu and teri beef were pretty bland tasting. And their signature Honey Garlic Chicken was too sweet and soggy.
