Daisy & Delois Cajun Cookery is a wonderful place for some tasty food. We’ve enjoyed the food more these days as Mike has honed his recipes. The crawfish is seasoned perfectly with that classic Cajun kick, and the catfish is some of the best I’ve had — crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and full of flavor. For someone that’s never enjoyed catfish, it’s downright tasty. It’s also gluten free – he mills his own rice flour. Portions are generous, and everything tastes fresh and homemade. If you’re craving authentic Cajun comfort food, this place is absolutely worth the stop!

So delicious! Daisy & Delois’ Cajun Cookery (currently sitting at Pedal Park NWA) supplies such a savory feast! So far I’ve tried the blackened catfish, fried catfish, and chicken strips. The fried catfish is my favorite but there’s no wrong choices here! You’ll have the same not-problem with chosing a side. The green beans, red beans & rice, fries, and the maque choux (a corn based medley) are all fantastic. Besides just being blown away by tasty flavors I also appreciate the extra mile the owner has taken to ensure high quality ingredients. He mills his own flour y’all! Don’t hesitate, this place is absolutely worth a weekly stop
