The lunch buffets are decent, although they seem to continually raise the price. Food quality was initially very goo when they first opened, but had declined significantly. They have recently begun to offer various special buffets, among them a breakfast buffet on some Saturdays. I went to the first one eagerly anticipating the publicized chicken and waffles. I was very disappointed. The chicken was good, but the waffles were of the frozen variety and were not even thoroughly warmed. The syrup packs were set out in tubs of ice. Ice cold syrup over cold waffles does not make for “good eats.” The bacon looked like it had been cooked in a deep fryer by the handful as it came out in clumps instead of strips. A couple of weeks ago, they advertised cheese omelets. These were also obviously of the frozen variety and not freshly made. They do various evening buffets on some Saturday nights. The BBQ buffet is probably the best of the lot, although it is not up to area BBQ standards. The Italian buffet is passable,the Mexican buffet leaves much to be desired and has little flavor. They have also done a seafood type a time or two which I have not tried. I will say that the Friday night catfish buffet is very good.

We went for the first time on Friday night for the fish buffet. We had heard good things about the food. The only complaint was the hushpuppies were burnt. And it would be good to see the green tomato relish that’s in the gift shop on your buffet.

I would put zero stars because we didnt get a chance to eat. Was recommended by a friend cause the food was supposedly good. But we sat there for twenty minutes to get our order taken even tried to get the ladies attention and was ignored along with the bus boy asking if weve been waited on and then continued on about his business. Will not ever be back! And no they most certainly did not say anything of the sort and its simply bad business to ignore a customer. We tried to get their attention three different times before we figured that they apparently didn’t want our business.

Today we said goodbye to our uncle Carl King. And the staff treated our family to a well rounded meal so we could all gather and be together as Carl would have wanted. I could go on and on about the food but for anyone who has been here before you already knows. But more heart felt and blessed more then anything was to have the honor to gather as one and remember Carl as he wished

Absolutely loved the place, I had been visitin family for the first time here and after driving 7 hours this place was a treat, wonderful food, a great atmosphere and I especially liked the white beans and the Fish was a amazing, the best part of this place though was the entertainment, the band was perhaps the best ive experienced in a small town and make the dinner the best it could’ve been, if im ever back round this area you can bet ill be back, y’all beat keep the band though lol.
