Great food and big portions with a decent menu and reasonable prices. Fantastic views
Service a little slow but it is the Bahamas. Super singer Terry on a Sat night with good drinks from the bar. A little hard to find by resort but worth the diversions.

We had dinner there, took 1.5 hrs to get served nachos for appetizer, my girlfriend was served here coconut shrimp after another hour. Me and the 2 kids were served our burgers another 1/2 hr after that. Complained to manager, who told me there was nothing she could do but take 5% off the bill, was really rude and told me it is cooked to order, lol not one free drink, we were charged for every refill for our 3 hr dinner. There were only 3 other tables at the time so it wasn’t even busy. Would never go back and never recommend anyone dine there. This is the first negative review I have ever left anyone, it was that bad.

Food is good pub fare. And that doesn’t take long to make. Unfortunately it takes too long to get your meal. Servers are good. Explanation for 2 hour wait one evening and 1 1/2 hour another night for food is not acceptable. Told can’t get cooks. Was offered but declined a free drink after threatening to leave without our food. Food magically appeared but as we were the only ones remaining we took takeout containers. Will not go back

Great spot to chill on a beautiful Bahamas Day! They’ve got the pool, the beach, the bar and the snacks.

We stopped by for lunch and a dip in the pool while staying at the Dolphin Cove Resort (walking distance away). The bartender was great – good conversation and was on top of everything.

We had some cracked conch and an order of wings plus a few frozen margaritas. The wing sauce was creamy and flavorful. The cracked conch was super tender but the flavor was just so-so. Its usually covered with a ton of pepper which was missing BUT all and all it was still delicious. The cracked conch came with a side and we selected the Mac and cheese. This was the ultimate baked and cheesy side and we loved it so much we ordered a side to go.

Loved Laroc and would recommend to anyone staying in Freeport. If you’re staying at Dolphin Cove, this is a great close by stop!

Service is good, the food is fine. Coleslaw and rum cake are amazing! Friendly bartender. A bit windy after the sunset. Has a couple of TVs to watch some sports. It’s a hotel’s restaurant, but open to the public. Not a lot of people on Monday night.

Great spot and great view but…..

Visited here three times during our one week stay, drinks were good two out of three times. This evening we had dinner and sat at the bar after waiting for an hour for greasy bar food our bill was 225 paid a cash tip and I guess the bartender decided to add an extra $30 to the bill besides his cash tip cuz we rang out and it was $255. Will not be back to Freeport. Not the same welcome as other places. Actually super surprised at how stand offish bartenders are here. Super weird since tips are how they make money.

The Food was pretty okay, hence the two stars. But the food took so long to come that my ice melted down before I got to eat. The server forgot to dress the table, my soda was expired then the new soda I got was hot. We felt like we were bothering the server, very uninviting. I don’t remember there being nice soft music playing but it was a pretty chilled atmosphere.

It the view for me..
Beautifully layout
The drinks; purple rain
Started my weekend off just right.

The bar is open to the public. So if you are staying at a nearby hotel/resort, you can still access the bar

So mediocre and hit or miss, but it is the only game on this part of the beach. Today our simple food order took 45 minutes and the “loaded nachos” were nothing more than chips with a cheese whizzy liquid and a few jalapeño slices, and a small dish of sour cream on the side. Wonderful beach atmosphere though.
