Tiny’s is the name but big is what you get… Nice friendly, cozy atmosphere, local place!
Great music to listen to while enjoying a cold drink with bite to eat and meet new friends. Make it to Tiny’s and see how “big” it really is!

Jazz musicians who are hitting their stride the day after Thanksgiving are rare souls. But you can find them at Tiny’s Grill in Utica. The place has been a jazz club and nutcracker museum for three decades. Good food. Great music. Fun people.

Had a great time every time we’ve been there. Extremely welcoming and slight quirky vibe. Bartenders are easy to talk to, and service is always prompt. Plus…the nutcracker display is truly impressive. Definitely worth stopping in at least once to experience the space!

Open since 1934, this unique spot is apparent once you open the door: The owner’s Jack Russell terrier barks at you, announcing your arrival. He is then willing to be petted, and circles back to your table to be sociable.
We arrived on a Lenten Friday, searching for a fish fry. It was all we could have hoped for and more: Choice of three portion sizes, generous sides, and it arrived quickly.
There are daily specials, written on the blackboard by the front door. The patrons are mostly neighbor regulars at the bar; the music is late 70’s Top 40. This is a good place to relax.

Didn’t stay long enough for dinner. The noise level was a bit overpowering. However, it was usually a very good experience. The entertainment was very loud for the acoustics. Service is always good. And the food as well. I missed seeing the doggie LOL.

Bartender was great, however have not had a chance to eat here because I could never find the menu online? Here you go foodies, menu loaded, by my pictures, great atmosphere, small outside patio, and apparently known for their fish fry. Randomly, walked into the filming of a NY Bestseller book too!

I haven’t been in Utica in years and it was so refreshing and wonderfully heartwarming to return to Tiny’s for lunch.
As usual, the food was phenomenal and the service divine. Jo’s smile and meticulous concern just brightened the mood.
My son, who had never been there before, said the robust green salad he had with grilled chicken was the best he had ever eaten. My spaghetti and meatballs reminded me of what incredibly luscious delicacies I have been missing with my move out of the area.
Always nice to come home. And reassuring to know that Tiny’s and Jo Gerace are still on the menu.
Sincerely,
Mike from Warwick New York
