Tried ribs on the run for the first time yesterday while traveling to CDA. Got the Brisket sandwich, mac and cheese side. First off, trailer looked clean and the lady (owner) was very friendly. The brisket was tender, flavorful, and juicy. Also there was a decent amount of meat on the sandwich. The bbq sauce was flavorful. The mac & Cheese was home style cooked not out of a box so that was a plus. Good option if you’re looking for a pretty good meal on the go, and not into the crap they serve at fast food chains. Looking forward to trying their ribs sometime soon.

Ribs are juicy and perfect, not a bad price either. BBQ sauce is really good, make sure you get extra sauce for the ribs. Pulled pork sammichs are delicious, add some Cole slaw for a sweet crunch. It’s a walk up joint near government so not much atmosphere but the food is to good to pass up.

Ribs were pretty miserable. Boiled/pressure cooked. There is a really nice BBQ trailer parked there, but the ribs weren’t cooked on it. No bark, no smoke, no color, no flavor. I knew as soon as I opened the box, the ribs had been boiled. I get it, though. BBQ ribs are a lot of work, 4-5 hours of babysitting a smoker, and that’s after you get a nice bed of coals going. These reminded me of a McDonald’s mc-rib sandwich.

Now in Athol, the food seems better, and it’s a more accessible location. Great decision to move north! Fantastic ribs. Great service, and friendly. It’s definitely a go-to place for bbq.

Ordered 5 racks of baby back ribs for a family of 6. Ate about a rack and a half and threw the rest away. If you like very fatty ribs you will love this place. Very disappointing.
