Pizzas were outstanding. (We had the Hawaii Pie-0 and the Honey Badger.) There are plenty of beers and a few ciders on tap so everyone could find something to drink. (They’ll let you try samples, which is great.) Atmosphere is very casual and they even have board games available for your table if you want. The music was way too loud, so we ended up shouting at our table. And the staff was very friendly but overworked. One person in the kitchen and one person at the bar meant ordering food took longer than it should and the cleaning of tables was lacking. So don’t go for the atmosphere or service, but definitely go for the pizzas!

Comfy pub. Lots of couches and relaxing chairs. Lots of games for groups to play if the want. Lots of drink options. Staff of very helpful. We went for the pizza and were not disappointed. We tried 4 different kinds. All 4 were great. Definitely going back.

So, legitimate question: how is this place still open? My hubby and I had been planning a date night for weeks and decided to give Growlers a try. We love pizza, we love games, and hubby loves the occasional beer on tap, so it seemed perfect! We walked in to a very gross atmosphere. I thought, based on photos, it would be a cool, hole-in-the-wall spot, but it was not. It seemed like a hodgepodge of items found off the side of the road. Everything seemed grimy. The wall of beers on tap was the only “cool” looking thing. There were maybe 8 people there, mostly at the bar. One bartender, a woman who seemed like she hated the world, and one guy cleaning off one of the tables who seemed like he too hated the world. There weren’t any tables fit for just two people, and they were ALL dirty. We stood near the bar, not sure what to do; we didn’t know if we should seat ourselves or what. As we had both been servers once upon a time, we didn’t want to interrupt either of these people, so we waited to be greeted. The guy cleaning food off the table walked by us twice without saying a word, just rushed by like we were invisible. The bartender was mean-mugging the world and wiping the counter. It was honestly like a bad budget bar scene in a movie! Cringe. After about 5+ minutes of just standing there, we left. We worked in the service industry, so we are very understanding of having a rough night as a server, but the combination of everything leads me to this review. Every aspect of this place blows. To not be acknowledged once at 8 p.m. on a saturday, when it’s dead is so odd, but to also have a totally ick and grimy establishment is so gross. I would not recommend this place to literally anyone. The fact it’s open is mind-blowing. Do not waste your time, money or breath at this place.

Only waiter there extremely rude ! Refused to acknowledge us and wouldn’t even take our order , had to go to the bar and practically beg to order , he never smiled or said welcome in or jack . He Stared at the tv the entire time and NEVER looked our way to see if we needed anything , not once . Our pizza was black burned on the bottom , but we ate the top bc it was good and I was just going to leave without asking for any type of refund , I just politely told him “ “you might want to tell the cook to take off 5 mins cook time or 5 degrees because it’s black burned on bottom “ he said NOTHING and just walked off ! RUDE !

SERVICE A ZERO STAR , NOT A 1 STAR on Monday 07/14/25 ! Only waiter there , young-ish , dark hair , VERY RUDE ! Needs to not to be in the service industry at all ! He NEVER said welcome or waited on us until we had to go bar and order, then when checking out he never acknowledged us , he stared at the tv entire time, never talked to us asking us if we needed anything , the pizza was burned black on the bottom but good on top , we ate the top and was just going to tell them it was burned on bottom but not ask for a refund , HE SAID NOTHING , didn’t even try to apologize just walked off ! The RUDE service worse than the pizza being burned x 100 !

Beer selection is great. I usually have the Bishop crackberry. The atmosphere is laid back and casual. The pizza is amazing and with original choices. The decor is retro and fun. they sell growlers too, so you can go home with your favorite beer!

Awesome bar. Eclectic seating and furnishings. Superb choice of all sorts of different beers at reasonable prices. Staff were super friendly and interested to help out with recommendations as well as general conversation about the world of craft. Was a place I’ve never visited but would like to one day return.

The service, food and drinks are great but the absolute stench in the women’s bathroom is unbearable. I’ve been having to use the men’s because of it. It constantly for almost 2 months has smelled like vomit, poo and a landfill. Not ok
