I always make it a point to stop in Veedersburg to/from via Indiana when I need to drive via Indiana. It’s a good stopping point to take a break.
I always call ahead while on the Interstate to place my order for dine in, about 20 to 30 minutes out, and they are very accommodating (and very nice) over the phone.
This is a very good diner with simple classic dishes. The kind of menu our grandparents grew up with.
The service is always good, the food is fresh, and the price is very reasonable. They also take credit cards.

Veedersburg is the meeting point when I pick up my kids from visiting family. I found this little diner and I am so glad that I did.
It’s an adorable little diner tucked away in this quaint little town.
Ashley was our waitress and she was sweet as candy. Wasn’t fake, had a great personality. She was patient when my little girls ordered and was very accommodating.
She checked on us just enough and didn’t rush us.
Food came quickly and was super yummy. Everything was flavorful and fresh.
Resturaunt was clean. There was also outdoor seating. I highly recommend visiting them.

I enjoyed the Friday catfish special create the catfish was cooktop very well and the special included a baked potato with sour cream and butter and a simple but delicious salad bar with lettuce salad and toppings cottage cheese and other Deli salads. The staff was very friendly. My meal was cooked to order so there was a little bit of wait time but it was very fresh.

After a long day of hiking and a random Google map search for restaurants near me, I was led to this diner. Off the beaten path, tucked away in a rural residential neighborhood. The waitstaff were a complete delight. I ordered the special of the day. Meatloaf, mashed potatoes with gravy and greenbeans. This meatloaf was honestly the closest I have ever had to my mommas. Everything was fresh and deliscious, at a great price. 4.7/5 I highly recommend that if you are in the area stop in and give it a try.

OMG who knew this little gem was hiding from me. The food is absolutely delicious! And for such a good price! The batter they fry everything in is amazing! We devoured our mushrooms so you’ll only see a few in the picture but we got a big basket. This is definitely a place that needs to be on diners drive ins and dives. This is a very old restaurant located in Veedersburg IN. It’s just a short way from interstate 74. It’s a small Mom and Pop type of restaurant. They offer a small salad bar that does include potatoe and pasta salads as well as lettuce and fixings for a green salad. They have daily specials that are very filling and delicious. Awesome waitress!

Happened onto this place Saturday. I thought it was someone’s house to be honest. It was nicely decorated inside but hot and a little cramped. Our food took a while to get but this was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had by far. Totally worth it. My girlfriend got the breaded tenderloin and she said it was the best tenderloin she’s ever had. This place really has great food! Hidden gem for sure!

Small diner right off 41 with great food. Our scout troop stoped on the way home from a campout. The food was delicious. Staff was friendly and accommodating to our 16 people party. Very reasonably priced too!

This is my second visit and the second time I’ve been blown away by the food. The wait staff is kind and prompt, the food is incredible, the prices even better, and the serving sizes are generous. It seems to be a local hangout so it does get busy and pretty loud.
My first meal I tried the hand breaded tenderloin and potato wedges. I’m not much for tenderloin and it was absolutely delicious. The potato wedges were the size of my head. I got 4 of those and could only eat 2. Today I tried the Italian Beef sandwich and hand breaded onion rings. The onion rings are huge and I got at least 6 of those. The sandwich was amazing. I ended with a generous slice of sugar cream pie which is my favorite. It was amazing too.
