While this stall focuses on Indian cuisine, the fish and chips were very well cooked. The batter on the fish was coated just right and with the right crisp Chips were delicious too, rate it!

The flavours of the curry’s was wonderful, they are generous with their servings and the coconut rice is wonderful. The dessert drink I had was unlike anything I have ever tried but it tasted delicious, it’s definitely worth trying if you have a sweet tooth. The staff are very friendly and make sure that you have absolutely everything you could need, they certainly make dining in worthwhile.

It was one of the best tandoori chicken I ever had. The service was extremely nice. We liked the lady who took order. Biriyani is OK ,the quantity is less comparatively (we saw the biriyani served in the next restaurant and compa red the quantity). I wonder how they run an Indian restaurant next to another Indian restaurant . It must be very challenging, i guess.

Food was disappointing. Vindaloo (3/5), Korma (2/5), and naan (1/5) were below average. The veg and chicken biryani were so bad we couldn’t even take a spoon thankfully, we got a refund. Feels like the chef doesn’t know the difference between fried rice and dum biryani. The only good part was the FoH service, thanks to the staff for being polite and responsive.

Order the tandoori chicken- the best deeply flavoured tender version I have had. The Indian food is great. I broke my rule about no varied cuisine restaurants and went here even though it serves a fish and chip/ burger menu as well. It helped make everyone in our group happy with their choices and variety. Food was fairly fast and warm service.

It’s fair to say this. RESTAURANT is a little surprising. I mean who mixes fish and chips with genuine authentic Indian curries? Well they do, that’s who! And they do a great job. Whilst the kids stuck with favourite FAIR like chicken schnitzel and chips w/side salad, my son had the seafood prawns And they were absolutely delicious. I had a ‘chicken bowl’ with salad and rice and my wife’s chicken tikka and korma were magnificent. Not to mention it’s affordably priced and the people are lovely and really appreciate the business.

After reading mixed reviews, we are very pleasantly surprised. The spicy dishes had good heat, the spices were so fresh, not jar spice. It was mostly freshly cooked. Bombay potatos exceptional. Wouldn’t get lamb biryani again. Onion bhaji was great, paneer Manchurian was nice. Naans not as spongy as I’d like but the chili naan was spicy. Teens love the mango lassi.

The staff were very friendly and attentive, making us feel truly welcomed. The food was absolutely delicious — full of authentic South Indian flavours! The tandoori chicken and butter chicken were the best I’ve ever had, and the flavoured rice, especially the yellow rice and jeera rice, were perfectly cooked and so tasty. Highly recommend this place for anyone who loves genuine and flavourful Indian food! The Best authentic Indian food in Coolangatta..Will definitely back soon.
