The only downside to this place is that if you don’t go early, you might miss out. they sell out fast, and for good reason! The pistachio croissant is absolutely amazing, and the staff are always friendly and kind. Definitely worth the visit!

We got up and went early so nothing was sold out. That was good, and bad, because we could buy more! I love the everything baguette. The macarons are the best we’ve found in the lehigh valley. Crusty outside and soft delicious filling inside. Get whatever flavors she has. It’ll be worth it. Get the chocolate hazelnut cake too. Make sure you have napkins in the car.

We are new to the area but I’ve heard so much about this bakery and couldn’t wait till they open their doors! I’ve tried berry-pistachio, almond-chocolate, almond and plain croissants, they all were so delicious I wish the bakery had a few tables and coffee options, just so we can enjoy this experience to the fullest! The best croissants in Allentown that I’ve tried so far.

We discovered this amazing French bakery by chance on a local food magazine and man, am I happy we did! Paid street parking in front. We got an assortment to go. Amazing service and the pastries are simply delectable. Definitely try stopping by when you can. They’ve got new patrons in us moving forward. In one word: phenomenal. Absolutely thrilled to have such a high caliber bakery in the valley. We got a bunch of goodies to take home to share. Each pastry is a work of art. And believe it or not they taste even BETTER than they look. Yum yum yum. Can’t wait to return!!!

Lord have mercy! How have I just stumbled upon Sophie’s delectable pastries? This is my second week in a row coming in and I will definitely be making this a regular thing! This is my favorite bakery in the area. My favorite thing so far is the croque monsieur and something new I tried called Kouign Amann! It’s so buttery and crunchy yet chewy inside. It’s hard to explain, so just go try it! Everything has blown my mind so far so just point at whatever looks good to you and I’m sure won’t be disappointed. I’ve tried the different flavored croissants, the Madeline’s, the savory Danish, and the baguettes and loved everything. There’s so much more I want to try so you’ll be seeing me Sophie =) . I HIGHY HIGHLY RECIMMEND! Come early and expect a little bit of a line, but it’s 100% worth it.

You NEED to try this brand new French Bakery in Allentown PA. Chef Sophie has graced Allentown with her amazing creations all for sale in this adorable new bakeshop. I can’t say enough about the items we’ve sampled. They are so incredible, just doing this review has me drooling! Her croissants are so layered and buttery and flaky. The chocolate variety has amazing thick, smooth chocolate in them. Her brownies are to die for. These photos were taken on her opening day, so she didn’t yet have all her cases filled with pastry. Since this visit my husband has gone back several times to bring home goodies for special occasions. He shows up before opening time, and gets IN LINE! Yes, her pastries are that good that she has a line waiting in the cold for her to open her doors—people coming from an hour or more away to try her offerings. She is so sweet and always ready to tell you about her creations. As I said, you NEED some Chef Sophie pastries in your life!
Oh! Also, her baguettes are TO-DIE-FOR! Get them early while they are warm and just have at ’em with some softened butter. Heaven on earth.

Best bakery in the area hands down. Since opening I have been numerous time and shared the word with everyone I know. The pastries are consistent, tasty, and you can really tell how much love and effort goes into them. Also, don’t forget about the Croque Monsieur, one of my favorites.
