Searching for the best coffee in Grants Pass? Your search ends here. Not only is the coffee incredible, but the sandwiches are top-tier—especially on that perfectly baked sourdough. Craving breakfast instead? The bagel sandwich is a must-try. Great energy, friendly staff, and consistently amazing experiences every time.

Lonely Pine Coffee Shop is the kind of place that instantly feels like a local favorite. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed — perfect for a quiet morning, catching up with a friend, or even bringing the kids along for a peaceful treat. They have a football to play and kids kitchen for kids to play
The coffee is outstanding — smooth, flavorful, and clearly made with care. I tried their [insert drink you had, e.g. “latte with oat milk” or “cold brew”], and it was one of the best I’ve had in a while. The pastries were fresh and not overly sweet — just right.
The staff was kind and patient, and you can tell they truly enjoy being part of the community. I really appreciated the little touches — comfortable seating, clean space, and a calm, friendly vibe.
Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

The Lonely Pine is my favorite coffee house in Grants Pass! I love their Rose cardamom latte!! I love the vibe and the decor. It’s a cozy place to work or connect with friends. Their food is all homemade and delicious.

Cozy and cute! Drink/food menu offered so many delicious options. Variety of milks and syrups to choose from when ordering a drink. Syrups are made in-house so they don’t have that artificial, overly-sweet flavor. Ordered a matcha latte with almond syrup and it was very good. Lots of tables and seats available. Good for a study spot or lunch date! Street parking in front of the cafe is free and there are a few parking lots in the area as well.

AMAZING FOOD!! Our entire group was very satisfied with their food and drinks. The chicken pesto was to die for, and my mocha breve was made to perfection. We’re visiting from Brookings, where Compass Rose Café makes killer chicken pestos, and it’s safe to say these ones at the Lonely Pine are comparable and remind us of home in all the best ways. The Avo Toast was an enormous portion and the Margherita Folded Pizza was also extremely delicious and fluffy and cheesy. When visiting Grants Pass again, we will be sure to visit this lovely, lonely cafe.

“I stumbled upon The Lonely Pine today and I’m so glad I did! It is the definition of a cozy, welcoming, local coffee shop. The atmosphere is perfect for catching up with friends, on work, or reading a book, and the staff are incredibly friendly—they make you feel right at home. The White Chocolate Mocha was perfect, and their Turkey Prosciutto sandwich was delicious. It’s so nice to support a local, independent spot that clearly cares about its community. I’ll definitely be back!”

Great spot! You can tell that real coffee lovers started this. The cappuccino I ordered was great and made the way I was hoping for. The staff were really friendly. I liked the decor of the space as well. I did some work and took a call here as well. Plenty of seating with outlets.
