Went there today and bloody mary’s were good but had a BLT with 1 tiny slice of bacon on each and no mayo for 9.00. And had mimosas and found out the girl makes them with vodka not champagne. Never heard of that.

We rented a pontoon boat for the day, and they were really great in orienting to the boat and the lake. They let us load the boat before putting the boat in the water. We called when we were about 15 minutes away, and they were there to get the boat. They let us dock and get our stuff out before they loaded the boat to return it to the lodge. They told us to just leave the trash, and they would clean it up. It made for an easy trip with minimal effort. Gas was included.

Yesterday I was displeased with the service I received at this location me and my friends went a boat trip and upon returning one of us had to use the restroom walked in and asked where was the restroom and was told there was a porta potty located outside. Which I took very disrespectful and out of line. I would never in life go here ever in life again.

This place is Unique when it comes to the setup outside. It’s a multi level hangout area with training walls, a fire pit and some pretty fun and wild decorations.
Everyone at this place, weather it be staff or patrons are pretty laid back and fun. Definitely get some fun stories out of people.
Food is amazing, pretty sure their cook was working at a fancy or highly rated place before coming here because the food is prepared by someone who has a pretty decent pallet for sure.
If you haven’t stopped here you should, worse case you don’t like it and you’re already a couple minutes from the coralville reservoir and lake mcbride webster you can enjoy a day outside in the sun and just enjoy your day

American Legion bar with possibly the best craft beer list of any restaurant of its type. Friendly staff and very tasty wings. Will be ginther a lot this summer and would recommend to anyone who likes a cozy out of the way bar and grill
