Every time we go here is just as great as the first time, if not better. Beer list: perfect balance of craft, local, domestics. Fried pickles, so good! not greasy like some places. Reuben, amazing. Salmon bulgogi, perfection. The people here are the best <3

We had been wanting to try this for a long time. Finally went and from cocktails to the entrees, all were amazing. I got a special, pan fried panko chicken w/3 cheese macaroni and cheese and roasted broccoli. My husband got the Reuben sandwich, he said it was the best he has had. We got to talk with the owner Mikey. It seems he and his wife are creating an atmosphere of a “cheers” type setting. Getting to know their customers. The hostess went out of her way to introduce us when she found out we were new. We sat at the bar and can’t wait to go back and try different things! Great experience

Hubs got the burger, he said it was okay. I went with the fish tacos, which were kind of cold and dry. Chips were stale. Great beers on tap, but avoid food. We were here last week and hoped it would get better. Waited for service sitting and checking out.

We tried G&G for the first time and we are glad we did. Each member of the staff made us feel welcome and helped make our experience enjoyable. Our appetizer, Bacon Wrapped Dates, arrived with 6 and we enjoyed the combination of all the flavors. That plate was spotless! I chose the NY Strip Steak. It was larger than I anticipated which doesn’t happen that much anymore and it was cooked medium perfectly. Underneath the steak was a generous portion of some of the best mashed potatoes I’ve ever had, true story. The broccoli was even still warm. The house boss chose the Monte Cristo sandwich and loved it.
We took a chance on a new place (for us) with a great Google rating and it paid off. Well done, see you again very soon.

I have never been more impressed about a bar/ restaurant in Gainesville than this place. The chef, Ed takes pride in making what he can from scratch and Mike, one of the owners is very approachable. This is what I’ve been looking for. It’s also family friendly.

We had the best experience today for brunch/lunch. Our waitress was so friendly and on top of everything at all times from re-fills to even if we needed the TV changed to a specific football game. The buffalo wings, crab and artichoke dip, and Mac and cheese were all great. It was such a nice lunch and we so enjoyed everything.

Food: excellent. I love the pared down menu. The sandwich was brought out quickly and the fries are some of the best in the area. Loved the decorations that they had up for Halloween. I love a restaurant that doesn’t take themselves too seriously. But i had to ding them a little: our server forgot about us and we sat there forever until the bartender took pity and brought us drinks. Also (and I get it: they’re a sports bar), the nose level from the televisions was a little above and beyond since there were only a couple folks in the restaurant and none of them were watching the teles. Will definitely go back though!

This place is amazing from the food selection to live music to excellent service. We had ordered the tavern burger bc it came highly recommended and they were sold out .This is a great sign for a new establishment. Baja Tacos were delicious and cane with the salsa which had a perfect kick. The Buffalo chicken hands down was just as amazing . Great place to meet up with friends. The owner Mikey Love went out of his way to make sure we felt welcome and right at home .

An overall solid 4 stars. We ordered 4 appetizers and it was $62. Skip the deviled eggs and stuffed mushrooms. You can make the same deviled eggs at home and the mushrooms needed to be cooked about 5 min longer. Loved the meatballs though and I’d go back just for those.
I think they’re still working on service issues because there weren’t many people in the restaurant when we went and we waited forever just to get our check.

The fried pickles were real good and so were the chicken tenders . I had 2 cocktails wife had 1 and a beer. The cocktails were good , the vanilla, cinnamon pumpkin beer was delicious. The place looks very nice and staff is great. A lot of beers on tap , unfortunately No flights available. Hope they add that to their beer menu.
