10/10 food, came here today for the chicken 65 and it was incredible!! We also ordered the chicken tikka and garlic naan and they were amazing. If you’re looking for authentic Indian food, this is the place! Also very clean inside and service was great!

The Chicken Vindaloo style dish I had at this restaurant was truly beyond my expectations. The spice balance was perfect; spicy but never overwhelming, with distinct flavors clearly discernible in every bite. The meat was cooked to perfection, tender and fully infused with the sauce. As someone who loves Indian cuisine, I can say the flavor was quite authentic.
I was also very satisfied with the service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely interested in what you were eating. Their guidance during ordering was spot on, and the waiting time was quite reasonable.
The atmosphere of the place is another plus. The Indian music playing in the background was unobtrusive, easy on the ears, but added character to the environment. The bar area was especially nice both the design and ambience made it ideal for a pleasant time.
Overall, it’s hard to find an Indian restaurant where the flavor, service, and atmosphere come together so well. I definitely plan to return and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who loves flavouful food.

My partner and I got dinner on a Sunday night and the food was amazing. Our favorite was the Masala Aranchini which was an incredible start to the night. My partner had the goat biryani and he loved it though it was a tad bit spicy. I had the Malai Kofta- it was delicious and the sauce was smooth and great on a cold day. The servings were very good. We finished with dessert, our favorite was the Kesar Pista Kulfi which was a flavorful, nutty frozen treat. Wished we had brought our friends. The staff was great and so was the alcoholic mango lassi!

WOW is right! My family and I went for lunch during their grand opening. When we first walked in, we were taken back by the beauty of the renovation. Everything was flawless. We started with the cauliflower Manchurian, and it was incredible. We then ordered four different vegetarian dishes, all of which were perfection. The saag paneer will make you weep. Having lived in big cities, we have not been very impressed by the Indian food in our area. But I’m telling you, this new Indian place will WOW you. We had the pleasure of meeting the very experienced owner and manager, such nice people. Our server was very kind and attentive. This will always be our Indian place from now on. Can’t wait to try their super creative menu! From paneer tacos to Indian Pizza to masala nachos. For this visit, we wanted to order more traditional dishes but can’t wait to venture out. If I were you, I would run to this new restaurant! Best in Maine, for sure.

A welcome addition to Portland. I’d argue the most authentic spot I know in the area. We went for dosa and it did not disappoint!! Will definitely go back for dosa. The tandori chicken wings were also super good. The menu is extensive and has the normal Indian dishes plus lots of fusion stuff for folks who may not be familiar with Indian food. Everything was pretty great but our only thing to note was the waitress (or bartender) got our order wrong which was kinda annoying so we didn’t get to try the full tandori chicken and instead got tandori chicken wings. Definitely go back for the dosas!

Love Indian food and glad to have this addition to Portland. The fusion menu gives options you would not see at most Indian restaurants. The tacos are a unique concept. The veggies that complete the tacos are a bit basic. The Channa Masala was solid and flavorful but not next level. The masala dosa was light and tasty. The side sauces were fine. The dosa overall could have been spicier. Loved the garlic naan.

As it is open recently, we being from South Asia were very exited to hear that a new place is opening.
Something did not clicked well for us. ( could be due to our excitement and expectation. Want to give some slack)
Interior is nice but the entire place sitting arrangement was little off. Could be because it is new.
Now important part. Food
Masala Dosa is 4 out of 5 (uncommon to not see coconut chutney )
Both chicken were 3.5 out of 5.
Garlic Naan was little hard 3 out of 5.
Mango Lassi very very sweet and felt very artificial syrup 2 out of 5.
Service was ok too. Not the best I would say.

Such a stunning location, with excellent food (do yourself a favor and get the samosas and the mango curry), and warm welcoming staff. The service was timed perfectly, with a wonderful flow to the meal.
