Kayla was hands down one of the most unprofessional, rude, and careless employees I have ever encountered in any restaurant. Her attitude was dismissive and hostile from the start. She was washing her hands while water was literally dripping out of her gloves — which is both unsanitary and unacceptable. That alone should be a major red flag.
The portions she served were laughable. The bowl was barely one-quarter full. When I politely told her that she had made one of the bowls incorrectly, instead of correcting it properly, she grabbed ingredients from another bowl I had ordered and physically mixed them together with her hands — combining items I specifically did not want. It was careless, sloppy, and completely disrespectful to the customer.
To make matters worse, she answered the phone mid-transaction, leaving me standing there while my order sat incomplete. No apology. No urgency. No professionalism whatsoever.
If this is the standard of service here, management needs to seriously reevaluate their staff and training immediately. This was beyond disappointing — it was unacceptable.
Man, had to edit this review and drop it lower. If I could go negative I would. Didn’t even get greeted walking in this time. Guy behind the counter just said “what you want” then pointed at stuff when he wanted me to tell him which option. Never seem a place go down hill so fast
We got charged for two bowls even though both our bowls could be added and it would be the same as the person in front of us. They couldn’t hardly close their lids.
They tried to charge us double for the same amount the person got in front of us for half the price. This is the second time it’s happened it’s always the African American guy who skimps on the bowls. The white guys in there don’t. I’m making a formal complaint to corporate about this. They are literally scamming people at this location. We kept one bowl only to weigh it and make a video on it. And we are sending it others to get another bowl to compare. If everyone isn’t going to get a heaping bowl like the two times now the people in front of us got, prepare for endless complaints. This is the second time it’s happen. Same African guy skimping each time. I’ll get his photo uploaded later. Be aware this place skimps out depending who makes it. We are not eating the skimp bowl we got today. We want a refund. It’s not even a full bowl it’s tiny compared to others. We are sending in people to get bowls then to weigh them to show there is major inconsistency with how much each person gets. Use a scale if everyone isn’t gonna get a heaping bowl. If someone could reply with a phone number I can call that would be great.
The driver gave us the wrong order even after verifying my name. He didn’t speak or understand the smallest amount of English. He had to show me his phone to confirm my name.
I asked if I could get my initial order delivered as I work in an emergency room and can’t pick up my order, and I was denied.
The expectation to eat someone else’s order and just be happy with a refund, is unacceptable and quite frankly LAZY. I also mentioned I have food sensitivities. This agreement this company has with doordash is misaligned.
