Chicken fried steak is big and tasty. It could have used more gravy and a little less potatoes. I’m not a big fan of having the potatoes on top of the steak. The wings were a hit with our teenagers. The fries okra side is very good and not cooked dry. The hush puppies are great. The catfish po boy is a sight to behold and tastes really great. The whole Ranch compound is a little odd to me with the salvage yard and RV storage but the restaurant is very good.

Well the bartender was great she took our drink order and delivered our food. Our waitress finally showed up to ask once how my Peanut Butter / hamburger (really good combination) was. It was very good. The fries were cold so the kitchen has timing issues. My wife’s fried chicken burger was good. The beer and Long Island Tea was good. For best service, I suggest you sit by the bar as the female wait staff are pretty lame.

Been wanting Prime Rib for awhile & pass by here almost daily & decided to give it a try. Went by on a Friday evening around 9 pm and when I walked in there was about a dozen people in the place, looked like they were there for drinks. I stood by the host stand for about a minute, where the sign said to wait to be seated, a lady from behind the bar quickly rushed over and apologized for the delay. I said no worries (greatly appreciated the fact she apologized even tho I wasn’t there very long, been in restaurant industry for many years and hate when guest are not acknowledged) she asked where I wanted to seat which I took a table on far side. I asked if the prime rib was still available and she said she’d check. So the server came over and I repeated my question and she said yes there was prime rib and to which I replied I was ready to order but inquired if I could get it blackened. She said she would check and came back and said yes they could. She went off and not even five minutes went by and she brought my food. The prime rib was delicious (they didn’t really blackened it, but that’s ok) cause it was smoked and the smoke flavor came thru beautifully. The sides included mash potatoes and gravy, green beans, sides of horse radish, horse radish sauce & au jus. The mash potatoes gravy & green beans were ok. The au jus was fantastic definitely made from scratch not some powder stuff many places make. The server came by after a couple of minutes to check on my food, which I also greatly appreciated especially since so many servers wait till later so if there happened to be an issue would be kind of late. I ate half and boxed up the rest to take home. I paid my check and as I was leaving someone hollered – thanks, come back and have a good evening. Overall was pretty good, would definitely go back again. Only thing I would of liked to have seen/had would have been some bread/rolls to have with my meal.

First time here I had the rib eye, and a service was awesome, and so was the food. I am now waiting on catfish to see what it’s like and I will let you know shortly . Catfish is awesome, maybe a little salty. Okay I tried the catfish again, and it was like it was deep fried from Frozen and really soggy inside. The fiber was awesome but it was just not the right texture.

We heard from a friend about this amazing place to eat called “The Ranch”, so when my mom visited from out of state, we decided to try it out. BEST DECISION!! Food was seriously melt in your mouth. I had the Chicken Fried steak, mashed potatoes, and green beans, and the portion was unbelievable! My mom.had a steak. The quality was outstanding. Now both my parents are here are we can’t wait to take my dad, who has had to hear about it for months!!

Came across The Ranch as we were on the first leg of our first family road trip with our 3 young children. Walked in to live music and good vibes. Food was excellent! A patron who the waitress described as a regular there came up to us and told us he covered our meal and to just enjoy ourselves and pay it forward. Good omen for a good trip ahead! We will pay it forward and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We don’t live far from the area so will certainly come back again!

Just a word of advice from one business owner to another. If you are not able to provide your best your better off not to offer it at all. My wife and I regularly come out on Friday nights for the prime rib, never had we had a bad meal until tonight. To start we got there around 6:30 and figured it would be a little bit before getting a table no big deal. Well while waiting a friend was leaving after their meal and made a comment about the smoker being down, so asked the young lady at the check-in if they were serving prime rib tonight. Her reply was yes. What she should have said was we are but it’s not smoked as usual. So we get our table and place our order for prime rib and not one mention of the smoker being out of service. We finally recieved our meal at 8:30 and it was absolutely terrible. I had to do something that I have never done before. The prime rib was so bad that we refused to eat it. Again if you can’t serve your best quality then don’t offer it for the night and try again next time. I will give them another try but had tonight been my first visit it would have definitely been my last. I hope this is not a sign of what is in store for the future from the new ownership.

Love the Ranch Bar & Grill. They have the BEST prime rib! It is smoked and has so much flavor. I’ve also had the chicken fried steak and it was amazing. The portion is so large that it is served on a platter instead of a plate. I can’t say enough great things about the place especially the bartender, Shelby. She works hard, has a fantastic attitude and makes awesome drinks.
